I have the Loki Quake3 tin box around here somewhere, and I'm pretty sure I have the Unreal Tournament box as well... but I'm pretty sure the Linux version was in the standard retail box for that one? Or maybe that was just UT2003 and UT2004:

Hmmm... according to Wikipedia, the original Unreal Tournament was going to be open source until Loki took it over:

Yep, they closed out my refund request with a "here's the help link for Steam." Doesn't do me any good when I bought the Steam key on a third-party store (probably Humble or Bundle Stars, but I don't remember any more?).

Quoting: Liam DaweQuotemacOS and Linux players can reach out directly to Steam to request refunds and they will be honored. In these cases, Steam will make an exception to their 2 hours limit rule.

Recent reviews are far more positive than the overall reviews, so they must be heading in the right direction.

We've all heard that before; been more than a year now on this one:

There have been a few that never even bothered with the promised Linux version after the Windows version tanked (no big loss in those cases, I guess).
Still, I wish them the best - I found the concept interesting enough to back it way back when, after all, and they did have a Linux demo at some point.

Silly me, I thought the "Classic" plan still meant you get all the games; claimed 10 before I realized there were more than the limit this time! At least I wasn't disappointed with what I left out, although I might have been more careful if I had been paying attention.
Someone else here suggested barter.vg a while back, and I've gotten some decent trades there.
Quoting: PixelDropI've never found a good way to sale/trade steam keys that isn't just a massive time sink and not worth it in the long run.

I see the same developers have another free game called The Terrible Old Man; anyone tried that one with Proton?

I'm not a big fan of the art style, but the reviews are positive.

Not all the way there yet, but they are getting much closer. The current Windows-only .NET is going away with the next, fully cross-platform, release:

Quoting: fleskI'm not a .NET developer, so I'm not an authority on the subject, but I know our Microsoft teams are developing most of their applications with .NET Core deployed on Linux these days, so I assume it has most/all of the features that .NET has.

They label the base game that way now, but it's not the bundle. You still have to upgrade to get the rest.
It doesn't list Proton in the Steam client, so it must be the native version they have been testing.

Quoting: pskosinskiMaybe worth mentioning: even that Humble says Blasphemous is available only for Windows, one can install it with one click on Steam client, so probably it's on Steam's whitelist of games which can be run through Proton without issues. I was surprised.

Yes, they still are (mostly) Steam keys. Sometimes there is also a DRM-free download also, and if the game isn't on Steam at all it's usually a DRM-free download (with occasional exceptions that are well noted, like Overwatch).
