Quoting: mylkasince it is an open device you may can install windows by yourself
but i think steamos is very optimized for it, so maybe even better performance with proton, than with windows on it
If it's a custom graphics chip, it may not be so easy to get good graphics drivers for Windows. Not to mention that AMD's drivers are a bit... lackluster, compared to the open source ones.

Quoting: ShmerlHuh? The article mentions Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodhunt. Never heard of it. Is it a new game in development?

This sure looks similar to (how I remember) Duke Nukem 1 and 2; probably the same engine. Looks like GOG doesn't have *any* Duke Nukem games, surprisingly.

Quoting: Orkultusfirst glance it looks like Mac OS, or windows 11, with that icon bar
LOL, my first thought on seeing Windows 11 screenshot was that they copied COSMIC (I think they showed that design before Win11 builds were out?).

Quoting: KohlyKohlDash to Panel has limited real-estate and you quickly end up with hidden icons that you have to scroll horizontally to access.
Do you have a small screen, tons of favorites, or just tons of running apps? I've never seen that here, but it seems like you could mitigate it by specifying everything be on the left or right, with no center section.

Also, I can't remember it ever crashing on me; perhaps that is related to your "hidden icons" state.

Been ignoring this one since the release, since there's no Linux build yet. But now I see all the bad reviews, complaining how it's nothing like the Prologue... :-(

So for me, it's a bit like Insomia - a bit annoyed that there's still no Linux build (since that is the reason I backed, and it's nearly 3 years since the Windows release now), but given the poor reviews I'm not sure I'm missing a lot.

Much worse than that was "One Final Breath" which never even bothered to give backers any keys (and of course Kickstarter couldn't be bothered about it). Not only no Linux release that was promised, but NO KEYS AT ALL for even the Windows release. But the reviews on it are incredibly bad, so...

Valve looks to be overhauling Steam Library folders to finally make them more useful

If they are going to list the games installed there, it would be nice to have sorting options, or at least sort by amount of disk space used. Date last played might be another useful sorting option, when you are looking to free up some space.

It looks like it's getting review bombed on Steam because "it's been abandoned". I didn't watch the video or read any details other than what Liam wrote here, but that seems pretty harsh - every game stops getting updates at some point, and the reviews were quite positive previously.

I've only had a chance to play the first half-dozen levels or so, but I must say they did a fine job on it.
