The only news I wish to read about this collection is, that MS drops the necessity of MS accounts to play this.

Your Steam Deck gets too hot? How about a self made watercooling system: https://www.pcgameshardware.de/Steam-Deck-Hardware-277668/Videos/Steam-Deck-Wasserkuehlung-1396239/ [External Link]
The video is in german only, but you can see the construction piece by piece to get an idea of it. And yes, the pump is as loud as the normal fan, but the deck is way cooler (lol) than before.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection broke on Linux and Steam Deck, here's a quick fix

I really wanted to try this one on the free to play weekend. It worked like this:
- Download
- Start the game
- Great! It works so far.
- "Before you continue, please Login with your Microsoft Account"
- Delete from SSD
I really hoped, that after this Games for Windows live - disaster, Microsoft has learned something.

Bytten Studio say not to sleep on Linux in their postmortem for Lenna's Inception
18 Jan 2021 at 1:05 pm UTC

So the problem here seems to be marketing, when there are instant buys under this article ;)
I've got my copy within the 'epic bundle' on itch.io. But there was Battletech included too, which keeps me busy playing till today...
But Lenna's Inception is on top of my pile of shame. So i will play it sooooooon :D

What have you been playing lately? It's chat time

I am working on my pile of shame and started The Talos Principle. It is like Portal with other flavour. Nice one.

What have you been playing recently?

I found an old game running again: Battleforge https://forum.skylords.eu/ [External Link]
Discarded by EA and brought back to live as a fan project.
But i could not get the installation work under Linux. Maybe someone could write a Lutris installer out of this https://forum.skylords.eu/index.php?/topic/4210-open-stress-test-all-you-need-to-know/ [External Link] and this https://forum.skylords.eu/index.php?/topic/6012-new-development-on-skylords-reborn-mac-via-wine/&tab=comments#comment-81184 [External Link] That would be great :)

Godot Engine editor running in a web browser is now a thing
29 May 2020 at 2:00 pm UTC

Quoting: NagezahnMaybe the title is a bit misleading. You can export your games to HTML5 for a while already. New is indeed the editor can also be run in a browser.
But the editor is a Godot app too. The Godot editor is basically a Godot game. So if games run in webbrowser, the editor will maybe aswell ;)
