Quoting: GuestApparently this is some kind of fourth-wall-breaking thing like Pony Island. I’m very disappointed. Wasted hours on this before it happened :(.You sure you got to Act 2? It's pretty much all horror, then again I guess it depends how you define horror.
Haven’t seen any horror, too.
Quoting: slapinBTW is there some VN with strong plot but with 18+ content in horror setting? Like Katawa Shoujo but with mysterySaya no Uta runs via Wine (apparently). It's really good, but bear in mind it contains gory scenes and strongly erotic content.
and story (apart from datesim and getting to know people)? So something with mature story and no stupid sensorship, i.e. story made by adults for adults? Of course it should run on Linux.

I can unironically recommend it. I played it at night too and what a mistake that was.
The horror is more on the atmospheric side and...I'm going to use the word Lovecraftian as it shares some of its themes. For those who don't like jump scares, there's maybe a total of two jump scares, one has a setup you see a mile away and the other requires some specific conditions.
There's some clicking through before the more interesting bits happen and it plays completely like straightforward romance/dating VN, however it's worth paying attention to the conversations.
Tiny spoiler -
Other than that avoid spoilers as the game works best when played blind.

Does it carry over the gamebreaking bugs? It's not a true Daggerfall experience if you're able to play it.

I don't like it, Steam already provides those features along with the convenience of having non-Paradox games at hand when I'll get bored of painting a map in my chosen colour and splitting community will make it harder to coordinate against whatever cash grab they'll come up with next. After all they only reverted the recent price shift when reviews for their games entered the Negative threshold. They make good games and show support to non-Windows platforms, but their Electronic Arts approach to balance between game content/DLC and their DLC pricing policy should be contested at any given opportunity.

I wanted to make a comment that they'll do a goofy, team-based shooter like everyone else, then again they kinda started the fad with TF2.
Then I wanted to make a comment about making a MOBA like everyone else, then I reminded myself they already made Dota 2.
Then there's also a loot based MP shooter fad, but CS:GO fits into that.
Obviously, there's also a zombie game.
Mark my words, HL3 will be either a theme-park WoW-like MMO or a Battle Royale type survival game, with everything else dead or dying those are the only fads left (that I can think of).

Great stress relief, in the same way as Stardew Valley. Feels a bit repetitive, but then again it's a farming game. Definitely worth its current price.

Starbound is already out and more or less it offers everything they promise, except for expensive VR and unnecessary celebrity VO.

The game doesn't actually have that much content without DLC. On top of that it becomes unbearably grindy unless you're playing on higher difficulty settings, which in turn are unplayable without the overpowered DLC weaponry. Then even with overpowered weapons you'll still need teamwork, quality which will nosedive after introducing so many people at once and getting players who understand the game was already rare enough and after three years the AI is still incapable of actions other than shooting in this objective-based game.
It's decent if you have three friends to play with to be able to make any progress and some of the heist DLCs for gameplay variety, absolutely don't bother if you don't have any of these.

Stellaris turns one year old today, gets free DLC and a patch in celebration

There is a lot of micromanagement, you can reassign some of it to the AI, but it's somewhat inefficient at it. I'd recommend having Stellaris wiki open in the background for your first few playthroughs, as the game is quite complex and its tutorial can be best described as throwing hints at you. Still, it's less overwhelming than Hearts of Iron games.
The current -33% sale is pretty good and I really like the game in general, but I'd get it around -50% if you're on the fence. What the game currently lacks is actual endgame content, as once you're done with your crisis and your quests, ascended to whatever and built your megastructures, you're stuck with what resembles a map of the Holy Roman Empire with dozens of tiny bickering empires. Nothing new ever happens and you're sitting for an hour researching Thing That Gives +5% to Things waiting for Yondar Blood Tribes to detach from Yondar Federation to vassalise them before Yondar Republic of Yondar or the Yondar Spiritual Kingdoms does it before you to get that extra 1% towards the Domination victory. You're at a stage when you know you've won the game, but you still need to pump about 6 hours to reach the victory screen, all of which will be either boring politics or very tedious warfare. Now compare that with Civ games where the game is at its most intense within the last 100 turns.

Quoting: Geppeto35What type of 4x is it? Low pace and long to progress (like in endless legend or Civ:beyond Earth...too slow and long for me)? Is it the kind of gameplay where you spend your time adjusting small and insignificant parameters to win or more big view?It certainly has 4X elements, but it's very different compared to Civ games. It has the usual Master of Orion elements like space exploration, planet colonisation, space/ground battles, research and diplomacy, but on the other hand you'll spend a lot of time managing the internal politics and social aspects of your empire, which is a feature usually absent in 4X games and there's enough detail to it that I would compare it with Victoria 2 or EU4. There is also a heavy focus on narrative compared to other 4X games. I'd rather call it a Grand Strategy game with 4X elements.

The 'Razer DeathAdder Chroma' is quite possibly the nicest mouse I've ever owned

I had to switch my mouse about 3 months ago. My MX518 finally died after 7 years of daily usage, much to my grief. Ended up switching to G402 as I've seen people commenting that it's the next closest thing. Having used various mice from various companies (including Razer Deathadder), I still think MX518 was the best one out there. Overall I prefer Logitech over Razer.
