If you want to see the rhythm-music platformer Runner3 on Linux, they need to see demand for it

They could start a quickstarter campaign in order to get presales and know if it's profitable on Linux (and that would also let us know which is the "$happy$ $number$" the publisher requires)

Nice! One of the best graphic adventures of the 90s. Maybe it's time to revisit :P

Wish GoG had Curse of MI in Spanish, unfortunately I need them to revive the magic...

Quoting: EhvisThe problem of the value will largely be based on the player base. A game with 100 player BR will need thousands of players online at any given time to make that work. This may sound easy, but it's not. Just check the the player numbers of Ballistic Overkill.
I agree about with your perspective about the Battle Royale mod. It may not work as expected if the game doesn't get enough market share. But as CJ has a single player campaign it may justifies the price even if it doesn't get enough people for the multiplayer. I mean, if it just were a copycat of Battle Royale or PUBG would make anyone to keep away from it with such price, but the existance of a solo campaign changes the equation (at least for me).

I will keep an eye on this game, graphically speaking looks really nice.

Quoting: axredneckNow waiting for DXUP in order to enjoy Stalker games with D3D10+ and better performance. Now DXUP doesn't even compile on linux because author develops it in Visual Studio on Windows.
mmmm, I have check the repository and I see meson scripts in order to build for Linux/Mac/Windows. Try to clone the repo and try to build with the latest version, maybe now you can test it.

Quoting: PublicNuisanceI seem to remember reading recently that the staff that had helped bring Shadow Warrior (2013) to Linux were no longer there or something to that effect in regards as to why Shadow Warrior 2 hasn't been brought to Linux but I can't find the link at the moment. May have been just gossip on Reddit.In any case they could farm out the work if they wanted so it would be a weak excuse.
That would be sad. Remember reading the Linux release support discussion in Steam forums. Good lord, best example ever of how to manage and fix the issues. Check this out:

Quoting: KnockoutgamesSorry this isn't fixing everyone completely. I went to staples and bought a Radeon HD 6xxx series and fixed all the problems with it. For those with issues please post your detailed system information if you haven't already (Steam->Help->System Information). Also post screenshots of issues, without them I'm really shooting into the dark.

@royal snipe
Sorry it didn't fix your situation see above.

@Sinedio
Will be uploading a fix for cursor soon

@Scotsman
The latest update focused on AMD specific issues, I'm still planning on fixing the mountain issues in Chapter 11. stay tuned.

Looks nice. I may be buying this one (I'm in the need of some brainless killing :P).

Wish devolver digital brings Shadow Warrior 2 to Linux though...

EDIT: Liam should have used this video: https://youtu.be/QSZGsborBXE [External Link] (they definitely bought me XD)

Quoting: Comandante Ñoñardo
Quoting: BrissePlease take my advice and upgrade to the Bionic Beaver as soon as possible, and no later than 18.04.1. By using outdated software you are actually causing yourself more headaches than any potential upgrade issue would cause you. The issues you describe in your recent posts are evidence enough of that.
Quoting: DanglingPointerThe game isn't broken, I haven't had a single crash or error and I'm using a GCNv1.1 card on Mesa using 16.04.4!

If they aren't production servers and you're playing "games" on them, improve your life and upgrade to the next Ubuntu LTS.
Then install Ukuu and install the latest Canonical compiled stable mainline kernel. See the word "stable" in there? Its stable for desktop use for 90% of everyone.
Get the latest Padoka Stable PPA to get the latest Mesa.
Then your life is improved and say good-bye to all your segmentation cr@p.

You should be afraid of your setup now with errors and crashes, not upgrading which gets rid of all of them.
Ok, You convinced me.. Im gonna upgrade.. But if after the reboot one of my programs (like Crossover) refuses to work or If I have to reinstall anything, Im gonna be veeery mad with the Linux world...
I'm gonna be very upset if I have to login to all my social stuff again or if I lost all my Firefox tabs..

By the way. There are THREE user accounts on this machine and I don't want to lost anything.
I updated my kernel to 4.16.3 (4.16.4 panics on boot) and all my problems are gone (or at least I was able to play more than 20 min.). If you are still on Ubuntu 16.04, try to do the update kernel and see what happens (use ukuu to make your life easier). Also, let olders kernels stay on your system, as you may need a rollback if something goes wrong (Nvidia driver always can fuck you).

So, for amdgpu seems like you need something better than kernel 4.13...

The new GOG profile system is out, looks quite slick

Quoting: x_wingI found this:

https://github.com/yancharkin/games_nebula [External Link]

I may be trying this during the weekend (if ever get enough time :/)
As far as I know, it's not using Galaxy API. If you want a well working downloader, try this: https://github.com/Sude-/lgogdownloader [External Link]
Looks like nebula is a GUI wrapper of lgogdownloader (is listed as mandatory dependency in the code). My idea is to give my girlfriend another games source, so having a GUI is mandatory in my case.
