Even with some of these older gen mobos (Skylake/Kaby Lake) having ability to toggle TPM2 in BIOS and vendors release BIOS updates to enable it, it might be more work then it's worth for some non-technical folks who don't want to mess with BIOS settings. Also, I have lots of Ivy Bridge systems that still work really well which all run Linux/BSD. So yea, hopefully (probably) Linux exclusive and/or Linux 1st becomes trend :D

Quoting: vipor29a linux exclusive nice :)Yea, prepare to see more of this, especially as the developer mentioned that they don't plan to update to Win 11. I have a Skylake and a nice Kaby Lake system with DDR4 memory, NVMe drive and a nice GPU...they both run any game/workload I throw at them; I'm not about to get a new PC and stop using these just because I can't run Win11 on them. A lot of developers on a tight budget will definitely be retooling on Linux/BSD and using that as their main development platform. I'm sure MS knows this, but I really hope the hit to their bottom line will be more then they anticipate with this.

Quoting: whizse...and we're back for the 21st edition of the daily refresh of my GOG library.Hi. Looks like Linux build has been uploaded to GOG. Enjoy! :)
That's F5 being pressed and the TCP packets are a go! We have SYN, we have SYN/ACK, final ACK! HTTP GETs are being made, POSTs are happening! HTML is getting ready to rumble! Here comes the JavaScript, it's running running running.... and CSS is rendering!
The results are in! We have a Windows version, no surprise there! We have a Mac port, getting close now, the audience is holding its breath... do we have a Linux port..? We do not! Repeat, we do not have a Linux port! The Linux port is nowhere close to the finish line!
Join us again tomorrow for another exciting round of what the hell is going wrong with Linux ports on GOG?

Thanks again GOL!
I doubt I'll play them anytime soon, but the checkout link had all the titles selected and it was two clicks to claim it, so no one should pass it up. Good work! :)

I know these guys' new baby is Art of Rally and they are probably working on more DLC for it which is taking most of their time, but would be so nice if they assigned one person to take some time and get the Linux build of Absolute Drift up on GOG so we can enjoy this free gift :)

This looks great! But if they don't sell it through retail channels like Gamespot, ebworld, Bestbuy, etc., it won't turn the tide against consoles and Windows. Hopefully if online sales directly from Valve are successful, they'll sell these in brick and mortar stores too.

3 GOG give aways in the last 5 days...which were reported here at least, it's the only way I ever find out about them. My GOG library keep growing, almost 40 games now and I think I only paid for like...2 of them...and probably at steep discount too. This is awesome! :)

GOG say the "Linux version will be available at a later date".Hope this doesn't take too long. Can't complain, it's free...but would be fun to play it :P Hope it works on FreeBSD :)

Hello,
I can't find an IRC channel for BOA, so I figure I'll ask here and hope someone can help.
I'm trying to play this on FreeBSD 13. I have gzdoom from FreeBSD ports which is version 4.1.1
Question 1 - What is the minimum version of gzdoom required to play boa3? is 4.1.1 too old?
Question 2 - I'm using the gzdoom -iwad /path-to-file/boa.ipk3 command to launch the game (with the right path), but it fails to launch. Output below:
Any ideas what's going wrong? Please help :)
Thank you

Quoting: RickAndTiredWhat does the note about passthrough mean? Does it work with a single GPU now?Nope, still requires a dedicated GPU to passthrough. It just means they allow you to install the driver in the guest OS now. Apparently this didn't work before.
