Nice move!
I played it some more when it released and still start it up once in a while - it's quite nice for a short session ^^

As Bad as EGS and their exclusivity bullshit is, but you can't argue that funds for projects like blender, lutris, krita, godot aren't welcomed. As long as everybody remembers that we are like moving to canada to Mr. Sweeny and that he want's to prevent competition i'm fine with them throwing money to something useful instead of exclusives ^^

Black Mesa 1.0 preview coming soon - still getting big improvements to visuals and the AI

A shame that i "have to" play it now :D (as in "playing all HL parts again prior to Alyx")

I still got some issues like not being able to set graphics options in game (they work via the config file), seeing illumination-markers or occasional fps-drops or crashes. When i last played it years ago it was more polished i must say ^^

since they don't support Galaxy on Linux yet
You know, there is optimism, and then there is naivety...
sadly, it seems you are right :/
And even if there is a proper FOSS alternative, i'm not willing to throw money on a company with that attitude towards linux...

I recently bought the index, a part of that decission was the expectation of a VR-only half life in the near future ^^

By default, SteamVR will now select the correct audio input and output devices that actually belong to the active VR HMD.
Does this actually work for anybody on Linux? It sure doesn't for me. Also, the volume setting in the SteamVR overlay doesn't work for me when I manually switch the audio over.
Nope, i have to switch manually as well.

Also, i still have massive reprojection issues in several titles (Project Cars 2, Talos VR, Senuas Sacrifice VR to name a few) - but i don't know if that might be attributed to the early state of 19.3 Navi drivers.

The Overlay doesn't work for me at all since some time, pretty annoying :/

And one other big elephant in the room is that there is no basestation power management on Linux, so you have to manually unplug them...

Microsoft confirm their new Chromium-powered Edge browser is coming to Linux

If i don't trust MS with my OS, i won't trust them with my browser...
Just wished they would release their games on Linux instead of this useless Edge thingy...^^

Quoting: LinasThis may actually have long-term negative effect on WWW as a whole, as Microsoft has just given Google complete control over the web technologies. I am already noticing more and more websites that work in Chrome, but not Firefox. Chrome is becoming the new Internet Explorer. Quite literally.

Thats what i'm saying to people for a long time...especially people that ditch chrome for a chromium-based browser to "escape google"...
