Unreal Engine 5 announced, Epic Online Services are now online

The geometry and lighting looks amazing, the water and face not so much...
I surely hope they don't drop Linux support, even if it hasn't been great till now.
And given Epics ties with Tencent, i hope not many games will jump on EOS...

Valve drops support for SteamVR on macOS to focus on Linux & Windows

I got a little heartattack when reading "Valve drops support for SteamVR.."....but what a relief that "macOS" followed xD

Sucks for Mac-Users, but is kind of understandable given Apples policy to screw devs over all the time...

Quoting: benjamimgoisHey guys, thanks for the responses.
Saddly it depends of LCL librarys of lazarus enviroment. I don't like it either... A good solution is to use the Chaotic-AUR [External Link], it provides compiled versions of several FOSS, including goverlay, so you only have to download 6MB.
Good to know, i'll take a look at it, thanks! :)
Quoting: benjamimgoisThe first alpha of goverlay was qt5 based, the theming become a little strange on some distros, so i switched back to gtk2. But i can make a new qt5 version to make a broader testing.
As a KDE-User i'd love to see a qt5 version, too ^^

And thanks for your efforts, keep up the nice work :D

Given the disastrous state that the Linux-Client of WarThunder is in for ages now i don't have very high hopes :(
But we can at least try ^^

GOverlay is pretty cool - having lazarus as a makedep is not so cool though...1.2GB for a Toolkit is a bit much (and then people complain about 9MB for KDE Framework ^^)
