Humble Choice for October is stacked full of good stuff

Hopefully they will keep up the pace of the last few months. I skipped most of 23, but for a few months now, the selection was getting better and better.

DomeKeeper is a gem of a game (so it can't hurt to have a key to give away ^^), Jousant was on my wishlist anyway, Remnant should be interesting, too.
Now the question - as always - remains: where can i muster the time to play all those games?

The PSN-Bullshit would be enough for a boycott, but those degenerates even crippled offline mode. So you will have to be online each time you start the game (apparently at least it won't exit if connection is lost afterwards).

A prime example on how to give piracy a push...

KDE Plasma 6.2 adding a pop-up for donations, plus they want to make a next-generation KDE OS

KDE is one of the few organizations that are stone set to my yearly donation-list, even when times are harder.

Imho it's only fair to ask for donations - and doing that once a year with a little popup is perfectly valid imho. I guess most of the people following KDE on some social media channel will already have thought about donating, so it makes much more sense to make the general user aware of it, too.

Battlefield 1 gets EA anticheat in September - will be left broken on Steam Deck / Linux

I know very well why i haven't bought any EA games in a long time (well, i have picked up Jedi:Fallen Order for 5 bucks to give them a chance after so many years - and still regretted it due to the EA-App bullshit).

And time and again, this steaming pile of shit of a company proves me right and provides even MORE reasons why to avoid them at all costs...it's almost comical at this point...

Well, let's hope this is not just a one off and EA might actually become buyable again in a year or two!
