Wish I would have seen this sooner, I would have totally backed it! It looks like a fun combination of FF6, Earthbound and Zelda.

This game makes me think of R.C. Pro-AM. I might be dating myself by stating this though.

Thanks for the news. I have now wish-listed this and will likely buy if it releases to Linux.

Years ago, Linux gaming was easy. Only a handful of titles like Doom, Prey and Osmos, so I could buy every game and easily play them. Now, I have to choose as the number of good Linux games is becoming more than I can every get around to playing.

A good Linux alternative to this then might be Planet Explorers. It was a tad buggy, but it was fun to play with friends and progress through the story line.

Quoting: omer666@epic, look at Quake Champions. That's the kind of games we want to play: Violent, fast-paced FPS. Not some gimmicky nonsense for kids.
I agree. In watching videos of Fortnite, it just looks slow and boring. I play Ballistic Overkill. The game is fast paced, fun to play and runs great on Linux.

wait what! I have it on the Wii (I have most :) ). I have zero issue with rebuying as they are great and the kids love them BUT Lego Incredible is giving me issues so I am reluctant
The Star Wars Lego Forace Awakens runs well too. Just need the ESYNC command.

The new one? Don't think they even develop it any more. Their focused heavily on Fortnite.
Speaking of which, how cool would it be if they released Fortnite to Linux. That would be Epic. Would love to see the numbers for the amount of Linux users that would then play. Oh well, at least we have Ballistic Overkill.

This game looks like so much fun. I will be buying it as soon as it officially launches for Linux.

Played MechWarrior 3 & 4 way back when. Since I first saw the announcement of this game coming to Linux, I have had a urge to play it. Hopefully, the wait is almost over.

IMHO bying this CPU for gaming is a bit overkill...
Well, you could run quite a few games at once with it.
Or tons of game servers for all your favorite games.

OpenSAGE, an early WIP game engine for Command & Conquer: Generals adds Linux support

C&C Generals was the last good C&C game in my opinion. I completed all the campaigns back in the day when it was new and I was in college with the free time to do so. The Laser General was my favorite. I will definitely play this once it is working under Linux.
