Despite promising an Early Access release, Crazy Justice is out only for backers for now and it's rougher than expected

Well seems, they decided to redesign their game right when they were supposed to release it officially. and now its become this...
They have gone through periods where they said nothing at all... and they were ruthless "purging people" from discord because anyone who told someone how to get a refund it seems wasn't wanted on their server.

I don't actually think they are a good company and they def only care about retaining any money they got from backers but honestly don't believe they deserve it purely on how they have been treating everyone across all platforms.

It's almost like they gave early adopters their keys so they can just say well you've played your 2 hours no refunds, when they eventually pull the plug.

Valve officially confirm a new version of 'Steam Play' which includes a modified version of Wine
22 Aug 2018 at 10:23 am UTC

It's no magic bullet and developers will probably still have to adjust their code for their stuff to work on wine unless they are very lucky. If nothing else developers might start talking to valve/wine developers to fix bugs etc for games they want to push out. In some ways it could be good for everyone.

Well I think its good, if you go to the steam page on it, they actively encourage developers to develop games on vulkan to get the most out of it if nothing else.

If it saves me from having to f around with wine, all for it.

BATTLETECH has an expansion named FLASHPOINT coming out this November
21 Aug 2018 at 7:00 pm UTC

Yes from memory the only reason Unreal tournament 3 never got ported was because they had used proprietary 3rd hand software Gamespy for handling the multi which no longer exists now anyway.

Think it is the case with a lot of devs, they add in third party libraries, without checking if they will work with linux. amongst the other assorted problems that can crop up.

A new SteamOS beta is out with GPU driver updates and a fresh Linux kernel
4 Aug 2018 at 11:54 pm UTC

Quoting: KunamashinaAnyone got SteamOS running on AMD VEGA GPU? Mine is only black screen after booting.

Trying to update to latest kernel through virtual console but for some reason it stays 4.14 and no apt-get update or upgrade helps getting that 4.16 where I hope ryzen will work

RxVega64 is my GPU anyone have some advice how to get steamos to show display?
Not sure if you have done it yet but you need to update to the beta repository they have a deb for that.
sudo apt install steamos-beta-repo
update
upgrade
dist/full-upgrade

if it does not update do a apt-cache search linux-image
if should sow you all the current available images apt currently knows of.
Hope that helps!

Erm... can you people explained to me in simple English? Paid or Free-to-play? Confusing...
Simple english. The 100 person multiplayer part of the game is available to everyone for nothing. You can spend money for a battle pass and cosmetic items if you want to, for that game mode.

Then there is the rest of the game, more single player and co-op content. Which if you want to play you need to purchase the "game".
