OK, I've got Titan Xp, is there any game or demo where I could test ray-tracing on Linux?

Abandon Ship, the naval combat and adventure game is still heading to Linux

It is working out-of-the-box with wine, except invisible crew models and kraken. It is a little bit anoying, but I was able to finish the game despite that. Native Linux will still be nice.

This game is a disappointment or me. Bought it long time ago - was not playable on Linux at all. Throughout development it was a little bit better, but still barely playable. Now it's released, it's still 30 FPS on Titan Xp, looks like crap, have bad controls and feels more like a job than entertainment.

Too bad, because I generally enjoy this genre of games. This one have a lot of wasted potential. Will stick with Surviving Mars, Rimworld or Oxygen Not Included for now.

Quoting: Luke_SkywalkerNoooooooooo!
Even if they keep releasing for Linux (which I doubt), the quality of their products will drop to M$ level.
Too bad, I've really enjoyed Obsidian games both for quality and Linux support. I hope I'm wrong about this.
Quoting: Han_SoloI have a bad feeling about this.

Nice, maybe it will stop to crash because of RAM limitation. :)

Quoting: ShmerlBuilding it is quite easy too, so you can do it yourself.
You don't have to build it at all. :)
Just install Lutris and when new version of DXVK is released, simply update your game settings in Lutris to use this version.

Quoting: Xaero_VincentI cannot log into Windows Steam with vanilla Wine 3.18 nor 3.19. Staging works, though. :(

Can anyone else confirm that Windows Steam is broken in the latest vanilla Wine?
Yes, I can confirm that. All I see with 3.19 is small Steam popup saying it's logging in and then it all close and process dies. Sometimes I see error message about missing connection, but after a second it crashes too.

Will have to try staging.

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun beta patch dramatically improves performance and load times
23 Feb 2018 at 6:34 am UTC

I've tested it and... WOW!
I've got i7-7700K and Titan XP.

Before path game was playable with framerate around 40-60 with ocasional drops to 20. I was able to play up to a snowy prison map, where the map size and intense snow effects was killing performance and FPS drops below 30 with drops to around 10 on low settings.

Now on everything on max settings I don't see FPS lower than 120. While zoomed in, I've got over 200 FPS.
Oh, and loading times for a game installed on SSD.... nearly instant.

Best performance path ever!
