That video is quite off-putting to me. TB reviewed it quite positively, so it might be a decent game. Steam only though :/

Quoting: RafiLinuxI really want to get the MK 1,2 and 3 from GOG but why is it not available on Linux since it's DOSBOX? Does anyone own these and run them natively on Linux? I do mean these DOS version not any other emulated version.
Yep. GOG don't have installers for many DOSBOX games and then they don't list Linux for that game. DOSBOX is the same on any OS, so you can make it work. You'll need to install the game using wine or extract it (don't know the tools for that) and extract the game.
This is one of the reasons why I wish they'd just ship the raw game as well as installers.

Tyranny – Bastard’s Wound released, some thoughts

It isn't even so much about the money, I just like my games complete. In this case it would mean getting some fancy Archon edition for 60 Euros, two pieces of DLC for another 22 Euros and possible future DLC who knows how much. The older stuff is discounted atm., true, but still, no idea how much it will be eventually, and when.

The Frostbite engine apparently has partial Linux support but that doesn’t mean we’ll get ports anytime soon

I don't know why you are listing reasons and excuses for companies to not bring out stuff for Linux. Where there's a will... And as others have said, EA could do it easily if they wanted to. They might not be the worst games company in the US anymore since WB is giving them a run for the money, but I'm still not going to buy any newish titles from them. Not as long as they require players to be online and similar BS.

It sure could.. there have been issues with sales not beginning/ending at the correct time. It seems to be improving overall, slowly... I found out yesterday that I got some friend requests months ago. They made 'friends' more visible. What I miss most is the ability to filter out owned games in their various listings.

GOG do WB sale. Now. With all the backlash WB gets from the shit they pull with shadow of war. You actually did them a favor by not mentioning it.

I would normally be all over a game in the style of Tyranny, but with their high price tiered release plus DLC they aren't going to see a cent from me. Maybe in a few years when all is said and done.
