Quoting: g000hI'm fairly surprised by the low Linux statistic. In fact I feel it is so low, I suspect that something is off (i.e. There has been a calculation error or human error somewhere in the chain. Maybe not including results from other stores?)Seems from the birdsite it is the Steam numbers, so if anything is off there then it's on Steam's end.
Personally, I own Cultist Simulator (in my Steam account) and have played it on Linux. It has featured quite regularly on GOL getting Linux exposure. It was in a Humble Monthly, which should have attracted all sorts of buyers, including Linux ones. Also, it is DRM-Free on GOG which would attract Linux players who (a) don't favour Steam, and (b) are dead-set against DRM.

There is a Banner Saga collection I almost bought because they are allegedly good games.
But after reading this I decided against it. https://www.gog.com/forum/the_banner_saga_series/linux_version [External Link]

Quoting: ZlopezI really do appreciate that they did something different. Unfortunately it didn't turn out to be a good game. That would have been fine, but it's the UI that makes it a bad game. I had about a hundred ideas on how to improve it for the release version. They addressed some of the issues, but many remain. My thought back then was that it couldn't be properly fixed without dropping the free-form table metaphor.Quoting: Sir_DiealotIn other words they'll quit working on this one soon. Remember their big "Game and all DLC we'll ever release if you pre-order now" deal? Yeah, that's like three small pieces of DLC and you can get everything by buying that final edition as well? Probably soon at a lower price? Yes, that and that the game is pretty bad is why it's the last time I've fallen for something like that.I don't know if you can say that the game is bad. I for change enjoyed the game, but it is really different from anything I played before. There are plenty of things you need to watch and you can get pretty lost sometimes, but it's always rewarding when you open up something new you didn't knew about before.
Quoting: Purple Library GuyI wouldn't. I'm holding off on BattleTech until it is complete and finished. Not at all interested in their other games. I bought Stellaris once, and in hindsight that was a mistake.Quoting: Sir_DiealotIn other words they'll quit working on this one soon. I really hope this takes off since Steamworks is a massive lock-in for games that rely heavily on modding. Maybe this Unity plug-in will help them get traction.

Sounds good.
I think it's sad that multiplayer is Steam only.
The general issue I have with the game is that I came to it late and the learning curve is just totally overwhelming. You play for a couple hours and get crushed out of the blue by some monster you simply couldn't see coming. It is very much a wiki game, unplayable without the wiki by your side. Your success or rather survival totally depends on prior knowledge.
