It's interesting how much the cpu governor affects the gaming experience. First one is with powersave and has micro stutters all over the place. Second one is performance and smooth (enough for my display that does 60 max anyway xD)

Kinda cool that a game shows a gpu bound value here :D Used nvidia-smi before to find out about bottle necks.

That's what I love about Linux. Someone always finds a way to work around an issue.

Great writedown. Trine 3 gave me the creeps. I really tried to play this but I simply could not wrap my head around this 2,5D mess they made out of it. The preview for Trine 4 looked great again. Sad to read that I [probably] won't be able to play this with my kids when they grow a little older :(

Quoting: PangaeaLiked Wasteland 2 as well, though I never played it once the DC came out (I had some problems with it then, for some reason).
Yeah, that was a bug feast especially towards the end. I think they fixed most of it. I remember finishing the DC at least once.

Hell yes. Wasteland 2 was a blast [for me]. Love the podcast format of this video. Nice remix from a remix of Land Of Confusion as well :D

That goes so on my Must-Buy list.

Kudos for your little one testing it as well :D

I'm always looking for games for my own ones but I won't go for one with "clunky" controls. That's the last kind of game for my first one with like zero frustration tolerance. That has to be the easiest part.

NVIDIA have released another Vulkan Beta Driver 435.27.07, just for Linux this time

Quoting: BeamboomI don't really understand all these title specific "fixes": The games are obviously all using the same graphics APIs, so isn't this essentially a bug on the application side?
I'd wager that specific games are just the first to hit and report such issues. Read it more like a courtesy note instead of messages like "Fixed a bug where X broke when Y was called while Z was void" 😜

Yeah, Hard West was fun but don't touch it if you're easily scared :D

Neat! Will give it a spin as well. Never really played it and just have it due to some bundle but I really liked it.
