Quoting: TiZI shouldn't be surprised that the comments of a Linux gaming website has such headass takes, but yet here I am.
I've actually been wrestling with this idea for a while. This site has not been so bad, probably largely because the content is usually benign (maybe not the right word, don't take offense Liam). But, it does not take much searching to see awful comments coming from the linux community. The most recent thing that pops in my mind is when Gnome recently changed their code of conduct.

So, the questions run through my head: Are these mindsets indicative of the majority of linux users, or is it the usual vocal minority aholes that like to spend all day on comment sections / reddit? And if this IS the way most linux users act, how do I feel about being associated with them? And, is this actually more toxic than windows gamers / users?

My guess is that other communities are just as toxic, which is depressing to say the least. But, I don't really know. All I know is that the one that I am in IS toxic.

The store logged me out multiple times , lost items from my cart and failed to complete transactions.
I advise people to wait few more hours until things cool down. :dizzy:

EDIT
LOL - my transaction failed again and this time it referenced a game i bought 1 month ago.
sigh
Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Was gonna buy the portal games for my son, and those $1.99 broke my steam store. I've read that you may be able to access the "pending transaction" via the purchase history screen and cancel it that way, but this did not work for me. It does not show up for me. Perhaps you have better luck.

Quoting: BeamboomWow that's some serious spec! Wonder what price we're looking at here.
Base price is a little over $1600 USD. Also, upgrades are reasonable. It has been a LONG time since I looked at buying a laptop new, but that seems pretty good to me.

Kinda got sucked into this one. It definitely has that "on more battle" thing going on.

Funny thing, I decided to take a look in my "unplayable folder". There were only two items in there, and I am happy to say that Last Epoch has fixed their issues with some linux machines being unable to login, which means that it is now playable for me. They have also fixed a longstanding bug whereby the mana ball would always appear empty.

I gotta say, they have made a lot of improvements to the game in general. it looks great, and is fun to play. If your not familiar, it is a diablo 3 / Path of exile game. It is different enough from both to be unique.
