What have you been playing recently?

I've been playing Mordhau (mostly), Kingdom Come Deliverance, Tomb Raider, Rise of Tomb Raider, Shadow Warrior 2 (excellent performance on DXVK), Insurgency, Verdun, Divinity Original Sin EE (playing on DXVK), LEGO Marvel (my kids) and The LEGO Movie (my kids also) and Shadow of Mordor (on Proton, this game has the worse performance on my list)!

I use a Radeon RX 480 on Arch, now I'm testing Linux-Mainline and Mesa-Git (with ACO), for a month now the performance has improved drastically, even in games that cannot keep FPS above 60, they are running smooth (except Shadow of Mordor)!

It already got an update and now it starts without any problems, but controllers aren't working yet :/
Works for me too now on Tumbleweed. I would also like to use a controller. Any idea on how to get it working? Do I need to emulate a specific one?
did you try xboxdrv?

The Steam Hardware Survey had some flaw causing cyber cafes to be over-counting users
3 May 2018 at 11:41 pm UTC Likes: 1

It stopped now. Few months ago every survey there were on steam, my steam on wine was asked. I don't remember if I was ever counted on linux! I remember posting this on this website, I don't remember people reaction!

I never thought about cybercafes, because I don't use them.

I believe counting people that actually log in, play and buy games is more accurate than measure total subscribed users, or eventually some windows users!

Wine PBA looks like a promising set of patches to improve Wine performance

I'm really impressed with this guy and with wine development! I started to use wine gaming nine (with gallium nine), the performance is nice and smooth. I will start to buy more dx9 games to play, but I think they need to do a gallium-nine-winehq to ensure some control on tittles we must avoid!

Chivalry Medieval Warfare performs better on WG9 then on the native version, with my RX480!
