Splitgate expands the options available for making Custom Games more unique

I would rather like them to work on their netcode. Seriously, this game has some of the worst latency issues I've seen in fps shooters. Aiming at someone doesn't hit them, however aiming in front of someone or sometimes even behind them gets you the frags.
And it's not my end. I live in a city with Europe's largest internet hub, usually I get very low pings and I have a 400/20 Mbit connection at home. The only game where it's worse is Natural Selection but Splitgate doesn't have the same charm. No other game is that bad.
Then again they don't show you your ping in this game. This seems really suspicious.

So is this somehow like Illarion? Illarion was a MUD that turned into a RPG that actually focused on role-playing. There were stats and skill progressions but it was mostly about the stories etc.
Unfortunately the player base kept shrinking and shrinking :(

Mine is from the 6th of December 2003.
We were playing Counter-Strike and there was news that Valve was going to shut down the WON network in favour of Steam. That's when I decided to make the switch, was first among my friends. Everyone else followed the next year. :p

I'm terrible at programming myself but I don't understand how you could fail at setting up a testing environment.

Quoting: TheSHEEEPHonestly just shows what I've been saying for years:Yeah, that's what I was thinking. This smells like laziness or incompetence. Or both. If I told my employer something like that he'd tell me to for a new job.
Game developers suck at software development, despite doing exactly that - usually they only don't if they themselves come from "normal" software development and possess more skills than "how to do X in Unity".
It's the natural conclusion to having too-convenient tools like Unity available, I guess.
"struggle to reliably build and test".... wow, just wow.
Stuff like that wouldn't fly where I work.

Quoting: Liam DaweNot I but the NVidia was informed [External Link] about the issue and it's tracked [External Link] but not available to the public. :/Quoting: starfarerI hope they will fix the issue with the missing textures in Far Cry 5 that appeared with 460 and was still in 465. :/Have you reported it to them?

KDE Plasma 5.22 is out now with a focus on 'stability and usability' and more Wayland

Quoting: ShmerlJust tried Plasma 5.22 / frameworks 5.82.0 with the Wayland session and I get a weird issue when copying to clipboard works only every other time. I.e. Ctrl+C on something - works. Another time - it doesn't. Then it works, then again not. There you go. :)
Did anyone encounter such issue? Is it a bug or something isn't configured properly?
I'm going back to X11 session for now because this issue is extremely annoying.
Quoting: starfarerPeople harp on about how great Wayland is. Unfortunately I am not willing to move away from KDE and it doesn't look like KDE will work with Wayland very well very soon [External Link]. :/It's the first showstopper issue [External Link] from that page.

I hope they are doing well. I really like this game but I read (unfortunately I don't know where I read it and I cannot find the article right now) how the game has been poorly received in the beginning.
Since they wanted to make the game they dreamed of they had to make their own custom engine which lengthened the development time considerably. They worked for quite a few years on this game and it didn't turn out to be financially successful.
I wonder whether that changed. I really hope it did.
I am looking forward to the sequel!
