Good. RX 480 seem to be always out of stock. By this rate, I'd probably wait for Vega cards already.

Since No Man's Sky is using OpenGL, developers can at some point decide to make native Linux version.

Exciting, but I need to finish the first one!Surely finish the first one Liam, it's a good game. I hope that Kamiko will be able to replace Hoji and his snarky background comments in the second game well enough.
Quoting: PublicNuisanceI'm going to be very angry if GOG doesn't have the Linux version.I'm sure they'll have it, they are just sloppy about listing supported platforms for upcoming games.
What have you been playing recently and how is it?

Quoting: tmtvlThanks :) Would be interesting to discuss what you think. I opened a thread for it: https://www.gamingonlinux.com/forum/topic/2268Quoting: ShmerlWhat do you think about the endings? I like the game, but it feels they didn't work on the endings enough. Feels they were cut short of thoroughly explaining what happened.I'll let you know when I get there. So far though, I've been thinking that I'll need to play through again, because I keep feeling like I missed something. As though I skipped over a dialogue that had some background info I need.

Quoting: tmtvlDex: Amazing atmosphere, decent writing, pretty good game feel. Kinda reminds me of the old SNES Shadowrun game. What do you think about the endings? I like the game, but it feels they didn't work on the endings enough. Feels they were cut short of thoroughly explaining what happened.

Dragon Age: Origins (Wine, GOG release). It's a good RPG, which reminds me of KoTOR mechanics wise, but I guess that's expected since it's made by Bioware. Never played DA games before, but I've heard Origins is the only one worth playing, and sequels all ruined it.
Project Cars official twitter confirms to me there are no plans for it on Linux now

Never heard of Project Cars. But it's too bad developers can't keep their promise, and even worse they don't find it appropriate to apologize for false advertising.

It's not really useful to measure any purchasing potential with pre-release versions of games. The audience which buys them is a small percentage of the final audience, therefore any numbers and ratios can be completely skewed and random. There is no point to break your head on analyzing why numbers fall a certain way for alpha / beta versions. After the release - that's another story.

Waiting to buy RX 480. But I won't be able to test Bioshock Infinite (thanks to 2K who refuse to release it DRM-free). Looking forward to testing other games.
