Quoting: CorbenYeehaaw!Would be cool to know roughly how much Linux copies they've sold since the unofficial Linux release and before actual support (it runs very well on Ubuntu / Nvidia at least). :)
When I talked to the CEO of Rockfishgames about the Linux version, he said he thinks they are doing the port for about 1000 people at max... let's prove him wrong!

Cool! Thanks for the key. Just installed it, running it with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS on
and it works pretty good.
I'm just not sure how to quit the game properly. At least I haven't found a menu item for that. Just closing the window does work, but is this the official way?

I hope Quiplash will be available to Linux too. I know it's included within one of the JackBox Party Packs, but only the Quiplash standalone can be modded so the questions have a different language. Which makes it even more fun ;)

Steam now has a form of platform-specific wishlisting, to help developers see demand

Do I get this right? To show my demand, I should set my filter to show Linux only games, and then put games on my wishlist that aren't on Linux yet and I won't see anymore due to the filter?
So I would have to explicitly search for the game in the store and the put it on my wishlist?
Sounds a bit too complicated to me.
I like to have no filter, to see all games available advertised on the store front page. How should I else know about it, if not seen somewhere else.
I think it would be a better idea, to use either the platform you are on, when wishlisting. Or being able to explicitly set it through a checkbox...

A lot later than expected, but the open-world pirate RPG 'Tempest' is now in Beta for Linux

Ouh... nice to see so some progress here.
I didn't expect this game still coming to Linux anymore, as it was pretty quiet about this one. And like many other devs falling into silence, it wouldn't have been so unlikely to happen.
So this is a nice suprise. Putting Tempest back on my wishlist ;)

Quoting: liamdaweNo, this is mentioned twice in the article.I read the missing announcements as something like they didn't write a news post on the steam store page or so. And as with the new Firefox Quantum and Enhanced Steam having issues with the platform icons, I just wanted to be sure ;)

It's not (yet) officially advertised as a SteamOS title, is it?
At least I see only a Windows and macOS icon.

Oh dear, this will play into the hands of developers who look at this statistics and will not port their games to Linux because the fraction of 0.35% isn't worth the effort.
Too bad neither PUBG is available to Linux nor Linux is China's mainly used operating system...
One good thing maybe is, they mainly use Windows 7, so this might boost Vulkan as graphics API, which on the other could be good for Linux gaming.
