I got this game and really like it, but I can't remember if I wound up getting it in a bundle or not. I find by the time we get a lot of games, they've been in bundles and so a lot of us are apt to just get what we can at the lowest price. A simultaneous launch would definitely help - and it's nice that he was told of a 90-5-5 ratio by other (I wonder who?). I also wonder if he can't tell what platform players are playing on? I thought Steam reported all that and more to the devs?
Anyhow, I think the game is great and I've got my eyes open for future releases!

I am sure some people will complain, but I think it is definitely fair. Though it'd be nice if they just let the Linux users keep the Lifetime keys, since most of us wouldn't be buying the game during the period of time when there was no Linux version available. But still a fair decision in the end.
Looks like Homefront: The Revolution might not have a day-1 Linux release

I'd rather have a better port than a rushed day one port.
But I'd also rather have a day one port.
Until we start getting simultaneous releases on a regular basis, the Linux numbers will always be lower than they could be, as people buy to play in Wine or dual boot, or just give up on the game entirely.

Quoting: DaleEMooreBought Steam Controller (neato!)I understand you can't yet play Rocket League, but the way you worded this, you make it sound like you can't use a Steam Controller in Linux either... Why? You can, you know?
Bought Rocket League (very neato!)
Can't play with 'em - just Linux here.

Wishlisted. I've enjoyed cards mixed into RPGs (and other games) since Baten Kaitos, maybe earlier, so when I have time, I may check it out.
Microsoft's latest tactics show Gabe Newell of Valve was right to worry

Here is hoping that the developers and publishers push back from this, and stick to existing channels... And Valve needs to push Linux a little more. Taking months at a time to port a single game for another company (Rocket League) does not bode well.

How do you feel about all this?I don't use Windows so I don't care. I don't understand why ANYONE would want to move from something less restrictive like Steam or GOG, to something that is absurdly locked down like this.

Rise of the Tomb Raider would be fantastic, and there is at least a chance of it happening.
The Solus Project would be awesome, too.

Edit: I bought the game last night out of curiosity, and it indeed plays just fine for me with 361.28. I installed it myself, didn't use any pre-made packages.

Quoting: KeyrockRolling back to a 358 Nvidia driver did indeed get rid of my issues. The game is already pretty bonkers right out of the gate. Good times.Sounds like the GLVND issue. If you install 361.28 yourself, GLVND should be disabled by default. If you use some random repo, who knows... they probably enabled it.
