Not the first time Motorhead is in a game. Lemmy himself starred in Brutal Legend - also available on Linux.

Unity Slides From SIGGRAPH Are Up, Unity Not Doing Vulkan Just Yet

Yet another reason I wish more devs would look at Godot. They plan to have Vulkan support as quickly as possible. The day the world stops revolving around Unity3D will be a win for everyone.

GOG Have Supported Linux For Just Over A Year, Announce New Linux Installer System

If the script does what it says on the tin and properly supports current freedesktop standards (hope so), who cares?
Don't get me wrong, I don't care how old it is. I care that GOG are not giving credit where credit is due, and acting like this is some great new thing they came up with, when reality is they're using something that's been around, essentially since the dawn of Linux gaming.

The way it's worded, you'd think GOG were the ones who created this installer script. In reality, it's just MojoSetup, which was written by Ryan Gordon like 8 years ago as a 2.0 version of Loki Setup...

Quoting: ajgpHmm, this is a maybe pickup; now if they ported Dirt Rally i would be in there like a shot
No, just no. DiRT Rally isn't even out of Early Access. A wrap job would be acceptable years from now... Not before then.

Don't Be Patchman Is The First Game On Steam To Be Linux Only

If I knew that the general public would get the opportunity to buy this game before people who Kickstarted it at tiers that didn't include alpha access, I wouldn't have bothered. I'd just have waited and bought it today instead. Oh well, guess I'm waiting until next year to play.

DiRT Showdown Confirmed For Linux By Virtual Programming, Pre-orders Open Up
31 Jul 2015 at 7:59 pm UTC

As much as I want a DiRT game, I'm not sure Showdown is the one I want... And this has nothing to do with VP - I've bought most of their other ports. However, the 70% discount on Steam ends Aug. 14th, so I will probably bite.

Unless, of course, they are releasing this separately, and not as a SteamPlay title... In which case their 20% discount makes more sense, but I doubt I'll buy.

Quoting: subI thought activating and playing the game on Steam Linux is enough
to make sure Feral gets the money - no matter where you got a valid Steam key.
No. You might count as a Linux user in Steams stats, but if you buy a key, that key was already sold with a platform attached to it.

Best thing to do is this:

Buy direct from the Linux publisher's site, in this case, Feral's store.
Or, buy from Humble Store or Humble Widget, as they track platform and attribute money accordingly.
Or, finally, buy from Steam via your Linux client.
Don't buy from Steam using mobile - last we were told, mobile sales always count as Windows for some reason.
And most importantly, don't buy games until they're released for Linux.
