Quoting: tamodoloPlayed this game on Linux with a DS4. Latency is a grave issue with DS4 on Linux I wasn't able to solve. I'll play again on windows at a later date.

Sorry Linux, you need to create a STANDARD for how thinks works to ensure low latency at all times. Before that, I'll stick with windows that already STANDARDIZE that.
That's weird, I finished the entire game with a DS4 as well and I had no latency issue. Nor with any other games. Now I play with my DualSense controller and that works perfectly too.
When compared to windows, DS4 on Linux is consistently worser. I don't know why. It just is.
Like others, I've been using DS4 on Linux for years. No latency issues. You're the only one in this thread who seems to have a problem with it ma dude. And are bashing Linux with non-sensical arguments in the process. I smell a troll.

If you're serious about this, you can provide you can create a thread about it in the Tech forums (provide your technical details if you do so). I'm sure quite a few people here including me will do their best to help you.

What do you mean by "small quality of life improvements"? This game is perfect period.
No seriously, you mean like move all troops in one click? I play mostly with only one hero so...
From the top of my head:

Move all troops in one click,
Move all artifacts in one click,
Being able to auto result a battle,
Being able to actually quit/load the game during battle

It works perfectly.
Am I the only who play Heroes III without the HD mode?:whistle:

Inner Rooster: I need this.
Me: No Rooster, you already bought Total War Warhammer 1 and 2 and you barely play it.
Inner Rooster: But I need this.
Me: Damn, you make a compelling argument. I guess I'll be buying this one as well.

Augustus, the open source enhanced reimplementation for Caesar 3 gets a huge upgrade

Quoting: RoosterAnyone who plays both this and Nebuchadnezzar? I would be interested in their take on both and comparison.
Two months ago I would have said go for Caesar III without thinking twice, since Nebuchadnezzar was missing several key features. But the thing is, Nebuchadnezzar is quickly catching up (recently added crimes, fire management, clickable workers, and the initially sorely missed sandbox mode).

So for now :
- Ceasar III has : religious and culture buildings/management, architects, a bit more "life" with plenty of clickable citizens to immerse yourself.
- Nebuchadnezzar has control of employees and designable worker "routes", which ensure that your goods are delivered in the citizens' homes.

Then again, with the Augustus team fully committed on adding features, Caesar III should be interesting too.

If you're not familiar with the genre, your choice could be based on the setting (roman/persian).
Thanks :)

Mass Effect? I'm in.

Quoting: scainestill requires Origin to play.
I'm out.

Quoting: CorbenWow! A fork of Proton being able to make a new game running before the official Proton version is amazing!
I guess I'll pick it up at some point. Only played ME1 so far, where I even lost my save. So I guess I'll replay it and then continue with the sequels.
Will you stream it?
