Cradle Open-World Adventure RPG Game Using CryEngine Coming To Linux

The game looks great but I have the same concerns as Bones. Even as much as the "pc = windows" annoys us all, the lack of a more explicit statement of Linux support has me suspicious.

It looks interesting and I'd give it a go if I wasn't so much of a coward.

Linux Game Sales Statistics From Multiple Developers

It's going to be really interesting to see next year's numbers and to see what growth has been made. I'd love to see some figures on paradox or 4a as well.

Hearts of Iron IV & Runemaster Announced By Paradox Interactive
23 Jan 2014 at 10:39 pm UTC

Paradox make the best strategy games on any system right now, so hearts of iron will be pretty much a compulsory purchase I'm sure.
What will be really interesting is if they manage to make an rpg just as good. I hope so.

Gabe Newell At LinuxCon 2013, Linux Is The Future Of Gaming
16 Sep 2013 at 4:52 pm UTC

Next week they will give more info on bringing Linux into the living room, so it looks like a Steam Box is getting closer to being a reality.
This is the news I've been waiting a year for so it better be good. I don't think I'm alone in hoping this puts PC (and linux specifically) gaming on a par with console gaming in the eyes of developers.

Quoting: NervDoes Mark of the Ninja work properly with the xbox 360 controller for anyone?

For me RT and LT are always pressed, making the character run all the time. Shank 1& 2 (also from Klei) also had problems with the RT and LT buttons, but there at least there was an option to remap them.

(Ubuntu 13.10; tested with  xpad & xboxdrv drivers)
Hmmm, I just checked and this seems to be happening to me too. I'm searching for a fix on the old tintyweb now though

Edit: Well I got it to work by blacklisting xpad and installing xboxdrv. I have no idea how to get xboxdrv to autostart effectively at boot though so I have to run 'sudo xboxdrv' to get my controller to be recognised now.

I picked up the steam key for each of these and they all run gloriously on Manjaro.
I expected some sort of performance drop by pushing Trine's gfx settings to max but it didn't happen, the game just looked even more gorgeous. It's great to see a bunch of games that all run so well on linux

This used to be my favourite pastime, but in the end there just wasn't enough dying kids with a rock collection.
