They finally got that menu scroll to work fast. That must have had something to about it. It used to be really laggy.

Really nice job from them. :)

How viable this would be to really test out 24/7 stability?

Yep. No games , no problems.
Quoting: jordicomaauto reboots for the updates that the windows gamers has.
Windows does not have such problems. The problem is on the chair in front of the monitor.
Not sure if anything has changed, but the last time i used it about two years ago it kicked me out while playing multiplayer games when there was an update. Also you could turn settings that makes stuff better, but then there is an update that makes you turn on settings and your old settings have been changed to different ones. That was two years ago. One of the things that really made me get out from it, because the constant hassle of having to set things up for your liking and never really getting anywhere. Not to mention how much ads there were. For a product that i payed money (meaning that i bought 8.1 for 10) it was unacceptable. Truly a garbage product. Maybe some have had better luck with Windows, but that was my experience of it.

Now even if things would have changed i would never go back, because they have done it once and im sure they will do stuff like that again or maybe even something worse.

Valve rolls out the new Steam Library and Remote Play Together for everyone

I have a nice 50% cpu usage with the new store while scrolling with x3460 Xeon @3.7Ghz. I hope that Valve would give the users the option to go back to the earlier store version or just make the damn thing at least run decently.

Well at least it is usable for my main pc. With my old laptops i can't really go purchasing stuff with those cause they can't handle the store. Even though the laptops handle like Twitch stream and Discord at the same time. Kappa

Opinions about other stuff should be just that. Opinions about other stuff. Has nothing to do with the work the guy was doing. He also has not been put in jail or anything so he has not done anything wrong. Simple as that. Someone/something clearly wanted to smoke him out.

Quoting: ImnotarobotI wish that devs that do old school games would make sure that it works with old school hardware. Kind of feels dumb to have crappy graphics if there is no use for crappy graphics.
The polygon count may be lower, but that's only one part of the equation; newer retro-inspired games make use of physics, # of interacting objects, lighting, etc., that require relatively powerful contemporary systems -- and are way beyond the capabilities of retro machines.
Yeah. It's a shame.

Damn. Does not work with my 4500mhd laptop. :( Not really old school if it does not work with old hardware. Have to just play with my desktop then. At least Ion Maiden works with it. :)

Maybe it's better that i don't write a review in Steam. :D
I bet it's a good game though.

The coolest thing to see would be something like Throttlestop. Now that would allow so much tweaking possibilities for cpu's.
