Based on the classic FPS Warsow, the new Warfork is now live in Early Access

I don't really have a lot of preference tbh but it is cool that it is on Steam to get more players into it. I've only played a few games and whilst the gameplay elements are great, the servers I was on were lackluster, to put it VERY nicely. When I get shot at the minute I spawn... That is one of two things: terrible map design, or too many people on a server.

With that being said... I'd wish that Xonotic would do the same as it is by far my favourite FPS in this realm of old school shooters.

A three-way look at Rocket League on Linux, with D9VK versus Linux Native

First off: Great thumbnail, hehehe.

And nice work you did on this, Liam. All I ever wanted for Rocket League on Linux is to have some freaking AA. Going from Windoze to Linux it was just glaring, starting right in my face. NO AA. Took some time to get used to the looks of that...

Paradox Interactive on Linux support, it's being done on a "case by case basis"

I do buy their games, but their DLC prices for games such as Hearts of Iron have always been abhorrent. I only get them with a big cut.

I'm really hoping Romero's mafia game makes its way to Linux... :(

Quoting: mylkathought kingdom come comes finally to linux
It will probably never come to Linux. I wrote them a few weeks ago and got the following answer:

"Hello Alexander, thank you for getting in touch with us. Unfortunately, there will be no Linux version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Sorry.".

Nightdive Studio's latest revamp with Blood: Fresh Supply is coming to Linux

Haven't played this since I was a kid... So... Should I buy the "old" Blood on Steam and put it into the nblood sourceport, or just wait for the port of the new one?

Feels like they'll do anything but tell us more about SS4! :P Pretty cool nonetheless.

What have you been playing recently and what do you think of it?

I've been playing DUSK and it is freaking amazing. It doesn't feel like a nostalgic game for the sake of nostalgia, they absolutely nailed it. Ion Maiden and Amid Evil have a lot to live up to!

Would like to get back into Hearts of Iron IV again but I need the DLC to drop a fair bit for that, sadly.

Tannenberg, the WWI shooter has officially left Early Access and it's good fun

Yeah... I did not like Verdun at all either. Felt like a poor man's Red Orchestra to me, and since that's not on Linux...

I'll keep an eye on Tannenberg again since you recommend it! Actually got a coupon for it because I have Verdun. But I just bought DUSK and that just tickle me in all the right places. :)

Quoting: LordDaveTheKind
Quoting: officerniceSorry to totally hijack this... but have anyone had any success with wireless controller for Kodi?
Hi officernice,
I have never used Kodi with a controller before honestly, but I did some checks today.

It seems that the package kodi-peripheral-joystick is missing in the Ubuntu 18.10 official repository. I had to install the Kodi release coming from the development team:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc/ppa
$ sudo apt-get update

I've turned on my gamepad and then run the xboxdrv driver with the same configuration:

$ xboxdrv --evdev /dev/input/event-asus-gamepad --config ~/.config/xboxdrv/native.conf &

And launched Kody. In the menu Settings / System / Input, I've configured the "Xbox controller (userspace driver)" as a Kodi controller and checked each key mapping. And it worked.
I'll have a look for the Arch equivalent, thank you very much, and sorry for the late answer! :)
