Arriving early next year, Dune: Awakening - Chapter 3 is sounding great

Yeah, no... Not givin' these folks another thin dime until they address the many bugs in their game that cause random freezes and crashes and loss of character controls resulting in the loss of entire vehicles and literally all equipment in your character's inventory. So far I have two entire vehicles trapped behind the cliff faces of the game world (of a limited number of vehicles you're even allowed to craft) and "support" basically tells me there's nothing they can do. Can't retrieve them, can't destroy them, and "support" can't do anything? No thanks. I'm done.

Wow! That's some mad-scientist genius-stuff on a whole 'nother level right there! I've done some wild stuff on Linux before running multiple separated instances of stuff to accomplish some really amusing trickery for my own personal benefit, but this is really abusing (in the best possible way) Linux's flexibility and capability.

Oh, how I hope this is true! I will absolutely be right there with ya in line waiting to buy one (or more) of these! Literally the best game controller I ever owned. Would have bought several if I had known they were gonna become "rare". Won't make that mistake again.

No more kickstarters for games that promise linux.
I really hoped this one being a solo dev would care about his backers but guess not.
Guess in the end now that he has Team 17 backing those console ports are more profitable than Linux , right? So screw those people who backed years ago.
sigh
This is exactly one of the things that bugs me most about this sort of thing. It harms other developers who fully intend to deliver on such promises. It erodes trust in such a way that other developers simply won't see as much (or any) money from Linux or Mac users who would have otherwise donated. These ass-hats aren't just screwing over the people who donated, but also other developers who might have created something actually worth donating to.

What have you been playing lately?
I've been replaying some of my old games; the ones that made me switch to Linux. Most recently, Mark of the Ninja, and now Brütal Legend
That's a couple of really seriously entertaining games right there. I also been (besides those two) been playin' "7 Days to Die" again. One of my favorite zombie apocalypse games of all time.
