Is it launching to early access? It doesn't look like a finished game, the visual are a bit rough.

Supraland stops supporting Linux shortly after leaving GOG entirely

Quoting: mylkacan we talk about "support" here? he just press the "compile for linux" button and hopes for the best!
i wouldnt call that "support", so he cant stop supporting it, if he never supported it
Yep, we have lost nothing. It amazes me how unprofessional some people are.

How can you sell something that you haven't even tested? How can you say that you support a platform when you don't even look at it?

And then they go and blame Linux for all the amount of bugs that the game has in it. I wonder how many bugs they fixed in windows. Hundreds or thousands I guess, it's the normal process of creating a game. But for some reason they think Linux will just work with no extra work.

For some time I was interested in this game, it (still) looks great. But I investigated more about it before buying and I lost all my interest. Some people don't deserve my money and I don't deserve their games.

It's a pity. At least the developer is not hiding what they do. I would be extremely ashamed if I were so bad at my job.

The Steam Summer Sale 2020 is live with a Points Shop

Not a fan of the points but we'll see what they do with them.

I picked up several games:
SteamWorld Dig 2 [External Link] (Linux)
Distance [External Link] (Linux)
Cave Story [External Link] (Linux)
20XX [External Link] (ProtonDB Platinum)
Quake III Arena + Team Arena [External Link] (ProtonDB Platinum + Gold)

All of them are pretty cheap (5 - 7.5 euros). I have too many games in the backlog to buy expensive games that I won't play until 1-2 years from now anyway :D

I played the game half a year ago in Linux (Manjaro + AMD + Nvidia). It works great.

Not only that, the game is great. I don't know how they could have done it better.

Thank you for letting me know about this DLC!

I like playing these kind of games with my gf but it's really difficult to find games that are... you know, games. It's always visual novels with no gameplay elements. Or reeeeally terrible games.

So if I can read about these kind of games here that would be great! I'll keep an eye on this one.

Quoting: saturnoyoI love rhythm games and Eurobeat is always a plus but I'm not sold on the "buttons flying around" approach.

I know that there are lots of rhythm games that do that but it looks like a mess. I have never played one of these before so maybe once you are in the action it makes sense.

Also, I would be using the xbox controller's layout and, at least for me, it is not as recognizable as the PlayStation's layout. Again, personal preference, but the different between X, Y, A and B is more difficult to recognize than the difference in PlayStation's shapes (round, square, triangle and cross). Of course that's not really the game's fault.

Anyone would like to share experiences with similar games?
The game has an option to use PlayStation buttons, you can even make your own icon packs.

Regarding similar games, Project DIVA is where this game takes inspiration from.

Full disclosure: I made this game.
Thanks for clarifying that, it's great having you here.

While you are here let me ask you, are there any plans to do any kind of co-op content for the game (not competitive)?

I'll keep an eye on the game, thank you for supporting us!
Over the internet? Yes, co-op gameplay would be possible, and in fact should be fairly easy to do, however on the same machine I don't think it would work (if you have a split screen notes are too hard to see, if you play in the same screen it's a mess). But yes, online co-op is something that I might do.
Nice! Thank you again for the info.

Good luck with your game, I hope it goes great!

307 hours.

I'm in the middle of a new farm with a friend. I started playing on 2017 and I replay it from time to time with friends. Playing it alone is just not fun anymore.

My gf finally got a pc so we will play it together soon too.

This game is perfect. Eric is amazing.
