Quoting: saturnoyoAm I the only one without the new UI? My steam client hasn't updated itself since the 2nd of October.

Not that I'm in a hurry but... maybe it hasn't released for everybody yet?
My steam client hasn't updated either. I still have the October 2 version. Maybe its a regional rollout?
I was thinking the same thing.

Anyway, my steam client was updated just now, let's see what's new :)

Shovel Knight's final two expansions King of Cards and Showdown have been delayed

Being a free update I would guess that the price of the Treasure Cove won't go up again, right?

I'm still trying to decide if I buy the game or not because it is more like a pack of games and I am only interested in Shovel Knight (and not interested enough to pay 20 bucks).

It would be nice to be able to buy only what I want.

Other than that multiplayer games are always welcome and there's nothing wrong with delaying a game to make it better. Good for them for taking the right decision.

Wrongworld, the bizarre survival adventure is still coming to Linux and it's next on their to-do list

Quoting: GuestMildly interested, but the graphics are so bad it even outdoes minecraft.
I see no bad graphcis here. Just a stylized art style, on purpose.
Just like Minecraft - with the difference that in Minecraft the art style also serves a very specific gameplay purpose.

If you want every game to look like RDR2, you're in for a lot of disappointments.
Mmm I think there is a little bit of A and a little bit of B.

I can see that they follow a specific art style but it's not everywhere. It does some things amazingly well (like the sky, the sun, that tornado, the textures of the protagonist) but some other things remind me too much of some low effort 3d games, they are too generic and bland (like the floor, the rocks, the buildings, the cannon...).

Even so I'm interested in the game, no game is perfect and this one looks fun.

No Brakes Games have discontinued Linux support for Human: Fall Flat
30 Oct 2018 at 12:15 pm UTC

I didn't notice! I was about to buy it now that it is on sale (it's been on my wishlist for some time).

I don't understand how a developer can stop supporting a game on a platform once they have sold it. I hope they at least offer refunds if someone plays on linux and finds a game breaking bug.

To me the path is clear, game removed from my wishlist and I won't buy any future games from them. Clearly they can't be trusted.

It's a pity, I wanted to play it.

Looks like survival game 'Stranded Deep' is now officially available on Linux

Is it really working in linux? Also how complete is the game? It seems like it's been in EA for 3 years, that sounds like it could be close(r) to be finished.

I still haven't really played many survival games, mostly because I hate playing online. That's why I love Farsky (well, also because you are underwater and that's my thing).

So, I'm very interested in this single player game, it also seems like co-op will be added and that's another plus in my book.

Quoting: tuubiThe game is aesthetically very pleasing, but I just couldn't push myself to finish it. I guess I simply wasn't having fun. Couldn't say why exactly. On paper the game should be right up my alley.
Same here, i couldn't find the fun, even if the game fits perfectly my check-list-for-games-i-should-love
Same same here, I've given the game several tries but just get bored and never finish it.
Sure, the graphics and music is nice, but the game itself just isn't very interesting in my opinion.
+1. I just couldn't play for long, I was not having fun and the sword was boring me to no end. I did play like half the game, so I gave it more than enough time.

BTW, I loved Bastion and, by the looks of it, I should have loved this one too, but I didn't.

The latest Humble Monthly has The Escapists 2 and new games in the Humble Trove

I decided 2 months ago that it isn't worth it (for me). I only play linux games and they don't include enough of them.

Unless the Early Unlocks are interesting enough for me I won't buy another one, I'm not going to risk it. Usually I'm only interested in the Late Reveals, which you can't know, so...

The Atari VCS team aren't doing themselves any favours by accusing The Register of being professional trolls

Quoting: Mountain ManIf we want to continue the Trump analogy, the Atari VCS will have detractor after detractor come forward and tell them it can't be done only for Atari to pull off a brilliant success in the end.
Neither Trump nor the Atari VCS will see such success. We can see what both are doing and it's going pretty terrible.

I played it for a bit but couldn't find the appeal (although I do like this kind of games).

Maybe I will give it another chance soon.
