307 hours.
I'm in the middle of a new farm with a friend. I started playing on 2017 and I replay it from time to time with friends. Playing it alone is just not fun anymore.
My gf finally got a pc so we will play it together soon too.
This game is perfect. Eric is amazing.

Set between Half-Life and Half-Life 2, Valve have now properly announced Half-Life: Alyx (updated)

They promised 3 games for it. Everyone was always saying how bad it was that Valve almost stopped making games, now we may get 3 games from them.
They will even give Index's owner the game for free.
And you think this is a middle finger to their fanbase?
I don't have an Index but the trailer looks great and I'm really happy to know that Valve seems to be pushing VR. Currently this could be the best game for VR.
So, I couldn't disagree more. I can understand you if you think VR is like a Nintendo gimmick but for some of us this is the future.

Quoting: orochi_kyoValve really knows how to middle finger their fanbase. Their next game will be exclusive for some new Valve hardware only a few have access, maybe it could be the Valve wheel, Half Life Carting. Or the Valve guitar, Half Life Soundtrack Best hits. Both Valve guitar and Wheel will cost only 1000$ each, quite cheap.VR is huge deal. Valve released the best VR headset and controller available in the consumer market, the controller can be used with the HTC Vive, they work with Linux.

I was gonna write a long text about how I feel about VR, but I would bore even myself. TLDW; I love VR but I don't see anything that pushes me to buy it.
Maybe this is the first of many things that will finally push most people to VR.
We'll see, it's difficult to trust Valve but the Index is a great product and it won't matter if they don't make something great to play with it.

Quoting: RatmanI was thinking the same thing.Quoting: saturnoyoAm I the only one without the new UI? My steam client hasn't updated itself since the 2nd of October. My steam client hasn't updated either. I still have the October 2 version. Maybe its a regional rollout?
Not that I'm in a hurry but... maybe it hasn't released for everybody yet?

Shovel Knight's final two expansions King of Cards and Showdown have been delayed

Being a free update I would guess that the price of the Treasure Cove won't go up again, right?
I'm still trying to decide if I buy the game or not because it is more like a pack of games and I am only interested in Shovel Knight (and not interested enough to pay 20 bucks).
It would be nice to be able to buy only what I want.
Other than that multiplayer games are always welcome and there's nothing wrong with delaying a game to make it better. Good for them for taking the right decision.

Wrongworld, the bizarre survival adventure is still coming to Linux and it's next on their to-do list

I can see that they follow a specific art style but it's not everywhere. It does some things amazingly well (like the sky, the sun, that tornado, the textures of the protagonist) but some other things remind me too much of some low effort 3d games, they are too generic and bland (like the floor, the rocks, the buildings, the cannon...).
Even so I'm interested in the game, no game is perfect and this one looks fun.

Quoting: TheSHEEEPMmm I think there is a little bit of A and a little bit of B.Quoting: GuestMildly interested, but the graphics are so bad it even outdoes minecraft.I see no bad graphcis here. Just a stylized art style, on purpose.
Just like Minecraft - with the difference that in Minecraft the art style also serves a very specific gameplay purpose.
If you want every game to look like RDR2, you're in for a lot of disappointments.

I didn't notice! I was about to buy it now that it is on sale (it's been on my wishlist for some time).
I don't understand how a developer can stop supporting a game on a platform once they have sold it. I hope they at least offer refunds if someone plays on linux and finds a game breaking bug.
To me the path is clear, game removed from my wishlist and I won't buy any future games from them. Clearly they can't be trusted.
It's a pity, I wanted to play it.

Is it really working in linux? Also how complete is the game? It seems like it's been in EA for 3 years, that sounds like it could be close(r) to be finished.
I still haven't really played many survival games, mostly because I hate playing online. That's why I love Farsky (well, also because you are underwater and that's my thing).
So, I'm very interested in this single player game, it also seems like co-op will be added and that's another plus in my book.

BTW, I loved Bastion and, by the looks of it, I should have loved this one too, but I didn't.

Quoting: Stupendous Man+1. I just couldn't play for long, I was not having fun and the sword was boring me to no end. I did play like half the game, so I gave it more than enough time.Quoting: TcheySame same here, I've given the game several tries but just get bored and never finish it.Quoting: tuubiThe game is aesthetically very pleasing, but I just couldn't push myself to finish it. I guess I simply wasn't having fun. Couldn't say why exactly. On paper the game should be right up my alley.Same here, i couldn't find the fun, even if the game fits perfectly my check-list-for-games-i-should-love
Sure, the graphics and music is nice, but the game itself just isn't very interesting in my opinion.
