While I'm always open to see more ps1-styled horror titles, it's nice to see a different spin on things :)
The Lion King, Aladdin and The Jungle Book no longer available on Steam, some about to leave GOG too

How lame :\ I figure they're either moving them to their own service, remastering them soon (best case), or they're making new games for those properties, since all of them will soon have live action remakes out. Hopefully this isn't just some 'brand integrity' nonsense.

What are you playing this weekend and what do you think about it? It's mostly Dota Underlords for me

Mainly Yakuza 0, such a fun, comfy game. Highly recommend :)
I also took another shot at Outlast, still hate it. The context of 'making your own found footage film' spiced it up a bit, but pushing myself into dark tunnels with enemies makes me feel a bit sick XP

Not to dismiss the dev's work, mind. This is an alpha, after all :)

Quoting: BeamboomYou're probably right, but I would think that with today's powerful game design framework it shouldn't be that hard... But looking a bit closer at the animations and physics here, it becomes pretty apparent that this is a project with little focus on physics and animations. So there's other issues here that's more pressing than being a bird, now that I think about it. :DNo doubt we have the tech to do it, but it would still probably cost much more time, which doesn't come cheap. The birds don't turn their head forward (I mean, with bird eyes I guess you cant justify that easily), their 'arms' movements are simple and symmetrical, and no articulated joints all mean less time required.
Unfortunately! Cause the maps themselves looks really fun to traverse.

Quoting: BeamboomWhy birds, though? Why birds? You must be more machine than penguin now :B On a practical level I imagine this is a lot cheaper than designing and animating humans in a human-sized environment. I think it's pretty cute though, especially how they use their wings to get more air.

I'm always on the look out for games my partner would enjoy playing with me, so I'll definitely pick this up :) I'm not much for Visual Novels either, but the writing is funny and the characters are nicely varied, and it's cool to have multi-player games that aren't so reflex focused.
We recently had a decent time with Nine Parchments from FrozenByte; wizardy fun that felt a bit less demanding than the Trine games :)

When I select 'new game' it immediately crashed; I don't see any other option to start the game.Quoting: michaDoes the demo work for you guys? Crashes for me after `New Game` in the menu..Direct download or itch client? If you use the itch client, the third option to launch it works.

I never finished Bastion and Transistor. They both have beautiful craft in them, but for some reason they were the kind of game that when I put down I just never felt like picking back up. Love Pyre, though. It taught me that I could enjoy sports games, I just need them to happen outside the mundane world of sports :B
