My 6800 XT came today. So I will switch to AMD after years of using NVidia - I hope I will not regret that.

Most important will be, that the devs are committed to the Deck and do testing before updates are released.

I doubt that this can all be handled by Valve, once there are a few hundred titles.

Microsoft shows Epic how to act against Steam.

I am sure they have a long term strategy. The time will come, when the MS owned games will be Windows/XBOX exclusive.

I am worried, that Gaben has just missed the point to also own a few important franchises/Studios, to compete. If you only have the plattform, you are fucked in the long term. At least when there is a content owner, who owns a majority of content and has big infrastructure/customer base like Windows.

It would be interesting to know, how many titles are steam deck verified by now.

It is only a few weeks until the first steam decks should be shipped and you never get a second chance for the first impression.

Give it a go.. I am running perfect on my GTX 1060. No issues at all. Got many settings to ultra proton experimental.
