Is there some international music day or something this week?

Interesting lyrics - they made me think of Darksiders, but surely there's another dev already porting that? Then I looked at the Wikipedia page for Master of Puppets, the album on which this features :

"...was inspired by H. P. Lovecraft's short story "The Shadow Over Innsmouth", whose main protagonist battles unearthly forces. It is considered the heaviest track on the album whose main riff emulates a beast dragging itself into the sea"

Battling unearthly forces, eh? I'm still thinking that this is Darksiders related! Which would be superb, cos we've waited a long time for those two to appear.
I will take the "beast dragging itself into the sea" as the hint.... any guesses?
Please be Mortal Kombat X.... it needs to be Mortal Kombat X :P

... the Old or Ancient Ones, the Elder Gods, of cosmic good, and those of cosmic evil, bearing many names, and themselves of different groups, as if associated with the elements and yet transcending them: for there are the Water Beings, hidden in the depths; those of Air that are the primal lurkers beyond time; those of Earth, horrible animate survivors of distant eons.
So there IS a slight chance this could be a MK after all.... at least I hope there is.

If zombie movies can still be considered thriller.... so I guess I would go with 28 Weeks Later.... I love that movie :)
Gaming speaking, I like RPG Horror games so I would go with Ib and Mad Father as a close second :P
The scariest moment, through.... I didn't actually play many scary games, so I will go with Castlevania 64, the very first "scary game" I played when I was still a young kid.... in special the first moment when the werewolf appears.... followed by the first time I faced the big skeleton boss I guess.... well, I was tense for most part in the first level the first times I played it :D

EDIT: Come on, just look at those first 10 minutes and tell me it isn't great :P

STAR WARS: DARK FORCES, Now On Linux Thanks To GOG
20 Jan 2015 at 11:08 pm UTC

For anyone worried about the quality of the "port", everything worked just completely fine for me, with the exception of the sound settings which crashed the settings window when I tried to enter in it.
But I don't know why someone would want to change something in there anyway.... the sound works completely fine with no exception.
My only real problem with the game is it's archaic controls.... were all Doom-like games like that back there? xD

Quoting: ricki42Great news! I held off on buying the game during the sale because I want it to count as a Linux sale. It's still marked as Windows-only on steam, so if I buy it now and only play it on Linux, will that count?
I would ask the same. If we buy and install only the beta/test-build, will it count as Linux or Windows sale?
I suppose that if you play the beta version of the game then the "most hours after 7 days" will come to play.... can't be sure, though.
I've been waiting this game for quite some time, can't wait to- wa-wait a second, what about the Deadliest Warrior DLC? I can't play the game without it

Steam Hardware Survey For December 2014
11 Jan 2015 at 2:40 pm UTC

Quoting: thelimeydragonLinux 3.10 is just going to be numerous distros including Slackware 14.1
I guess I didn't put that right.... I meant that, since it seems that most of the no-Debian-family gamers are running Arch, so the chances are that a "Linux 3.10" user on Steam is using that distro! :D

And sorry if this post came a tad late, it turns out I have much less PC time around the holidays because family and stuff like that :P
I barely even accessed the site during that time.... of which speaking of, I still have a GOL survey to complete ^_^

Yes, it's much better now, thanks :D
But the number of likes and the heart icon is not updating when I press it anymore....
Earlier today it was.... but now it only changes when I reload the page.

I just came back to look at the comments and I confused the "Likes" with a part of the comment for some seconds, so I guess it would be nice to have the Likes differentiating themselves from the comments in some way to avoid that.... and I also think the top bar would look better with the "GameOnLinux" logo filling that gap between the mascot and the tabs.... and I think that the logo the very way it is already would fit pretty well in there, without changes ^_^
Other than those.... I think everything else was an improvement :)
