I’m curious how this plugs into the box’s power and systems. Is there an internal usb connector dedicated to the front panel?

Looks like GPU switching tool optimus-manager isn't abandoned yet

Hey, I wasn't expecting to see my project mentioned on GoL! I'm the original creator of optimus-manager (Askannz on Github).

And yeah I admit I haven't been working on it for a long time. It's less than I'm overworked and more that I just don't have the hardware for it anymore. My only testing machine is currently missing a hard drive, a right hinge, and is just generally falling apart (thanks MSI for your wonderful build quality), in addition to having a very old GPU that's not representative of modern Optimus variants. So I'm glad someone else has been picking up the slack. But in any case I'll be keeping an eye on new commits to make sure everything is going smoothly.

Proton Experimental fixes up New World and Aura: Fate of the Ages

Aura: Fates of The Ages! Now that's a blast from the past. That was one of my favorite point-and-click games as a kid.

I've always wanted to play the sequel (The Sacred Rings) but sadly its publisher went under and I could never find a digital copy of it.

I highly recommend Syberia: The World Before. It's an absolutely delightful adventure, full of the charm and poetry that made Syberia 1 & 2 so good, but with a with a less tedious gameplay and modern fully-rendered graphics.

You don't need to have played the other Syberia games, since the story of this one is fairly disconnected from the others. (and you'll get a video recap anyways).

Deep Rock Galactic sold 2.3 million copies last year and I'm not surprised - it's awesome

It's funny, I almost refunded DRG after buying it. I had played a couple of solo missions, found the gameplay loop too repetitive and decided it wasn't for me. Then out of curiosity I tried to join a few public lobbies...and wow, it was like a completely different game. I have dumped almost 200h into it since.

I don't know exactly how they do it, but the combination of procedural generation, random mission events and the inherent unpredictability of real human teammates make for endless source of fun. I don't normally like to interact with strangers in online games, but in DRG it happens completely naturally.

I've only played Quern but can definitely recommend it. One of the best Myst-likes out there.

If Splitgate is verified, does that mean they've fixed the voice chat issues on Linux?

Splitgate expands the options available for making Custom Games more unique

Quoting: starfarerI would rather like them to work on their netcode. Seriously, this game has some of the worst latency issues I've seen in fps shooters. Aiming at someone doesn't hit them, however aiming in front of someone or sometimes even behind them gets you the frags.
And it's not my end. I live in a city with Europe's largest internet hub, usually I get very low pings and I have a 400/20 Mbit connection at home. The only game where it's worse is Natural Selection but Splitgate doesn't have the same charm. No other game is that bad.
Then again they don't show you your ping in this game. This seems really suspicious.
It must really depend on the region, I have no such issues in Australia (despite the notoriously bad internet here).
