An updated Steam machine would indeed be nice, ideally something you can already buy when the next generation of consoles hits the market, so that they show up in all articles about the new Playstation/XBox as a reference point.

Quoting: XpanderHow console players type in the chat? Slowly i guess with some onscreen keyboard type of thingy?
Chat? As far as I know, Rocket League only has a handful of standard messages (like "Good shot!") to select from. Is there any mention of a full chat feature that I missed?

Quoting: GuestAs soon as Lutris will show all my Steam games, it could be interesting, but it shows only the installed ones :-(
It's in the configuration dialog, you can either show all games or only the installed ones.

Quoting: liamdaweThanks, I stopped following a year or so ago when they didn't do anything with it. Glad to know the fix is quite simple. Hope it helps others seeing this.
I can't help but notice that a certain "LiamD" posted something below this fix two years ago... :)

But I wonder why the developers did not simply remove the 64bit version themselves, that should've taken care of the problem, right?

Quoting: PatolaTalisman: this one I did not test (I don't like card games), but it seems to run without music via Steam Play according to ProtonDB.
I tested Talisman and it did not run. From what I could research online it fails because it expects the Windows Media Player Codecs. You need to download a tool to manually convert the files to WAV [1] or you install WMP into the wineprefix. Slightly annoying because I am sure the developers would only need a small patch to make it compatible with Proton. (The third option would be to select the legacy engine from the beta selector.)

I had this game on my wishlist since I first heard about it. Sadly it clashes with my strict "Don't buy Early Access" rule. Will newcomers even have a snowball's chance in hell once the game leaves EA?

According to Kotaku, Microsoft is close to buying Obsidian
10 Oct 2018 at 11:30 am UTC

Pfft, Microsoft is only playing "nice" with Linux because they have it exactly where they want it to be: widespread enough so that they can present it as "competition" when they are under antitrust-scrutiny, but far from being a real threat.

Personally, I make my kids use minetest instead. Am I too cruel on them? What do they miss?
