Planetary Annihilation: TITANS gets revived as the devs ask for Linux help and feedback

Quoting: TermyTo be fair, a permanent discount down to 2,39€ for owners of PA is pretty reasonable.
Today yes, but from my memories and from SteamDB, it was first a new game only, then an update about 15€ for several years, and the price dropped only much later.

This, and i think the gameplay doesn't work well anyway, with large scale spherical planets. You can't see much and constantly have to rotate the view.

However i would need to play it again to confront my opinion, as i didn't play Planet nor Titan annihilation for years.

I'm stuck on my 2015 idea, having a hard time to see anything else.

Should be free for all buyers of Planetary Annilations, not only Kickstarer's.

The previous game was not even finished, everyone was waiting for Titans's content, as a patch, not as a paid DLC.
They even removed the first Planetary Annihilation, so it won't get any update or support.

You paid for PA ? You want to play a updated and supported game ? So pay now for Titans.

It's one of the worst move from a videogames company i've seen these past years.

Maybe Titans is actually a good game. But all my already little support for the company is gone now.

The game got it wrong. Nazgul have tie and bow tie nowaday, and they are glorified in main media and politics.

Manjaro Linux looks like it's in trouble with the release of the "Manjaro 2.0 Manifesto"

I'm on Manjaro since about 7 years i think. It did break one or two times after an update, but it also worked back after a few lines found on internet. Other than that, it does what i want : i work, play (native or Proton/WINE), media, without really thinking about the OS itself.

I was not thinking about buying any console (over the years i got a NES, a Megadrive/Genesis and the first DS "tank"), but now, i'm even less willing to.

Same. I played a lot until it moved to Epic exclusive. It could be weird as i also play a lot of game exclusive on Steam, but at least Steam does things for me, as a Linux gamer.

Been playing it a lot over the years.

The best experience i've had with xcom-alike games was with OXCE-Files, and Xenonauts XDivision.

The 40K mods are fine too.

I hope hugely that Xenonauts2 will see modders love, amazing things might come from that.

I've been on Manjaro for years now, not sure, between 5 and 10, and i'm feeling very alright for gaming and working and multimediaing, etc. Before i was on Mint, for about 5 years i'd say, and it was fine too.

The "retro" part of Good Old Games was never really a target for me. But DRM free, download and own, offline, and games not seen elsewhere, yes. I've stopped GoG entirely for Steam, because despite DRM sometimes, i can much easily-ier play on Linux, native or via Proton, and get a refund too (many times, but less now, as proper demo seem to be back in the trends...). I think now refund are a thing on GoG too, but they would need a "huge" effort toward Linux to be in my choice again.
