It's a shame that we'll never get to have all Batmans despite their massive bugs list, nor we'll ever get LotR Shadow of War.
Also I'd like to point out that developers at Feral are usually not aware of the higher ups corporate deals and decisions. Troy on Epic games store was a surprise to most of them until Creative Assembly and Sega officially announced it. Not to mention lots of developers there sought new horizons.

Quoting: Purple Library GuyI don't see how relevant that can be given that these numbers are a record for Steam. My point was simply: not all PC players use Steam, a lot do but not everyone.

Also that's what Feral seems to lean into: iOS versions of Grid Autosport, XCom 2, Total Wars and so on.
(If AAA games gets adapted to run on iPhones/iPad I can definitely see them coming to arm desktops, but that's massive work.)
So no, macbooks and macminis are not KO, they just need slightly worse graphics and render pipeline sleeve tricks.

Quoting: 3zekielFor Steam, honestly, I never understood why even bother to port games to MacOS. Mac is already not such a big market, but the number of Macs that can actually game is probably multiple times smaller than Linux gaming market. Macbooks are KO, mac mini is KO, so it leaves you with a bunch of iMacs and Mac Pros users I guess ? I mean, what's the point ? Of course, now that vulkan support (through moltenVK) exists, and since it is posix, it might still make some sense to support both Linux and MacOS, but MacOS as a primary port platform makes no real sense to me.Seems Apple focuses on mobile-ish games. XCode is such a pain to code real c++ on, mostly made for swift and objective-c.

And last but hopefully not least GOG and standalone games such as MMORPG.
On Linux we tend to mostly play on Steam because that's where the hardwork happens to make it run on Linux but there's also Lutris and much more.

Quoting: ShabbyXIs it just me, or are these numbers surprisingly low? You would think there are many more PC gamers. Anyone knows how these numbers compare to playstation for example?I'd mention other platforms, Epic Games launcher/store with a lot of free games over the last year alone. And I also have a few friends exclusively playing on Xbox games pass thingy or origin, blizzard (maybe uplay) launchers.

This reminds me of TIS-100.
Same leaderboards design, coding on "old hardware" with documentation, puzzles with input expecting a specific output.
Looks nice!

By the way, not perfect but I managed to play a couple hours before a freeze on my Nvidia 1070 Ti.
The only annoying thing was the cracking audio, surprisingly not bothered by any shader compilation.
Let's hope the vulkan extension boost the perfs but at least it runs.

Via GeForce Now: Supposedly you're using your own Steam account, so you wouldn't even have to transfer, it'd be there.
(Nvidia just gives you access to a streamed windows device)
Devs may be decent, company is not. But I agree with all your other points.
EDIT:
Over a million concurrent peak players at launch, placing it top 4 most concurrent peak players on steam, within a few hours.
They clearly do not seek our money.

Quoting: LungDragoQuestion - if I play Cyberpunk using a streaming service, can I transfer my save files once Nvidia gets its shit together?Via Stadia: No

I considered unstable (sid) to be the true Debian rolling but I've never been so happy moving to manjaro, rolling release + easiest experience I've ever had!

Quoting: MohandevirFrom what I heard from another user, couldn't Debian testing be considered a rolling release? Might give it a shot, eventually.Stayed on Debian a few years, I think testing is just the next version (currently "bulls-eyes" future 11.0) than stable.
