I remember watching an old video about the process of Valve's team in making a map (I guess it was TF2), and their process involves creating map artworks before they start creating assets, and then starting map development. You can play any fps from Valve and see the difference in quality on official maps, they do a very good job on development that gives the feeling that we are playing on a different map from the other, in contrast to community maps where most of them are so worried about the gameplay that results in a maps that feels like some other maps glued together.

Yes I'm aware that Valve has way more re$ources than some modders, but my point here is to say that a good art process can't be make by algorithms (although it can help if used in some components).

Another example is Deep Rock Galactic, I usually love coop games and was thinking in buying the game until I've played in a free weekend. Although the gameplay is similar to other games I usually like, the maps for me gave me the feel that I was playing in the same room with just a different color palette due to their PG maps.

The "View News" button is now a "Patch Notes" link that will open an overlay to the most recent relevant patch notes for the game. This will only display for games that have entered patch notes into the new event system. The patch notes link will only show up on updates, not fresh installs.
This is the change I'm excited about, now I only hope developers can properly feedback on it.

Would be nice if this remaster was in source 2 but I doubt it'll be the case

I second that. For me procedural generated content is usually just a fancy copy & paste content, It's good in some cases but I rather have a handmade environment because it feels more immersive, specially combined with a good in game lore.

I said this before and I will say it again: Before ask developers to support Linux we need to ask them to support Vulkan first, in order to make them create better games with the api.

Every game made with Directx in mind is a potential "Proton only" game, which will result in cases like Trine where even if they have a native version it's different/worse than their windows counterpart, but more games made with Vulkan in mind means better performance, which means more chances to have a (good) linux native version.

Exactly, my last refunded game had a native port too (Last Epoch) where the game wouldn't even start in my machine, so what was the point of a native version for me in this case?

In case of Valheim I notice this too, and the cause is not Vulkan being worse than Directx, but probably because the developers are more comfortable at working with dx, because dx has more support (easier to work with) than Vulkan right now, hence why it's important to encourage more developers to work with Vulkan even if their games will be Windows only.
