I've just finished The last story a J-Rpg from Hironobu Sakaguchi-Sama and it was great. Too bad this game only got released on Wii, reducing it's audience to casual player, maybe not the best target for a J-rpg, it deserves a re-release. Only Blue dragon left and I my Mistwalker experience will be complete.
Now, I'm 4 hours into Control from Remedy, one of my favorite studio, so much I bought an Xbox one only for Quantum break. And so far it's really good and beautiful, latest proton works like a charm and gives perfect results, not a hiccup or a graphical bug.
Next, I'm not sure, Fallen order or finishing my run of ME : Andromeda ?

AMD confirmed today that RDNA 2 will be coming to gaming notebooks next, with desktop GPUs based on RDNA 2 to follow along. Both of which are being targeted for a release in the first half of 2021.Maybe I'm mistaken but aren't the 6800 series already based on RDNA 2 ? Or are they announcing new GPU already when the current GPU are not available ( at least in my country ) ? Ironic, ain't it ?
Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead is a huge amount of fun

A lot of fun indeed ! Yesterday, I was just testing it and I end up finishing the first chapter... 2 hours later...My OCD told me to kill this last zombie I was missing repeatedly.
Adding the zombie killing part and the heroes waypoints makes the game more like a Lemmings / Incredible Machine with Bridge constructor as a bonding material. Really good and fun !
I didn't try BC Portal but it's on my list.

Quoting: scaineIf I were to dip my toe into the Bridge Constructor world... do I go for this, or Portal. I haven't watched The Walking Dead, so no particular skin in the game from a fanboy perspective. Just wondering which of the two titles is more fun for a noob in this genre.I really liked Bridge Constructor Medieval, it's a basic constructor but with fresh rules like reinforcing your bridge, making it collapse and kill a maximum of your foes. A bit on the easy side if you already played the first Bridge constructor.

I would have loved to buy one Rx 6800 xt, money is ready, spammed all day long on my mobile at work, but in my country they were nowhere to be found. Only two resellers managed to put the cards online with no stock to be seen but with a huge premium, even on Amazon the products are a no show.
So, I'm happy the support is better than usual but what's the damn point if you can't buy the f**king thing... So pissed off right now, they ruined the party for me.
It should be illegal to promote and advertise product that are not fully available. Looking at the Ps 5, Xbox series X, rtx 3xxx and now Rx 6xxx...
Edit : how could I forgot the ryzen 59xx series... MIA too.

I've just finished Shadow Warrior (2013) and I loved it from start to finish. It's a pure mindless shooter/slicer, it's fun, it's beautiful and the Linux port is perfect. What else ?
I've started Return of the Obra Dinn and I don't know if I will ever finish it. Apart from the visuals, which are a bit repulsive at start, the pace and the goal are way too slow for my taste. You're just watching events and investigating for clues in order to put the pieces of the story together. Not my definition of a fun gameplay. Better reading a real book or a comic.
I've started Tales of Berseria and the first hours seemed fun. They managed to remove a big chunk of why I hate anime in the first place, too much stereotypes and unfunny comedy (mostly shonen I assume...). Compare Valkyria Chronicles 1 & 4 and see what I mean. First one was top notch, Fourth got on my nerve real quick. I digress... It's classical Tales Of gameplay with a darker setting and so far I like it. I'll surely pick it up again.
Last but not least, I started a new The Last Remnant run and I loved it until it became a crash fest, one every half an hour on average. I've tried every tricks in the books but it seems too randomly plague Windows user too. Too bad, the game has a unique JRPG combat mechanics that seems really deep and different from what we are used to see. Hope the remaster won't stay an Epic exclusive too long.
Else, I'm trying my hand on Ardour, trying to mix my latest track since my friend mastering Cubase left living another life in an other country. Learning a DAW seems too have a really steep curve or I just plain suck at it.

Even at release, I thought that the fourth was a step back, 3D was average compared to the gorgeous hand painted environment of the previous, the controls were not so good even with a controller and that god awful Monkey Kombat... Worst puzzle ever.

Quoting: jarhead_hMine too. In my opinion, the 3rd one is the one that aged best, not counting the remakes of MI 1 & 2 ( which are great BTW).Quoting: ArehandoroCurse of Monkey Island is my favorite of the series.Quoting: Perkeleen_VittupääI like the 4th one.Heresy!
P.S: I like the 3rd one, also a heretic for the purists I guess :D

I removed Microsoft from my life 3 years ago not to install this browser on my beloved Manjaro. No sir, no thank you...
I'm getting used being an ostracized Linux user and not being invited to parties therefore I'm always suspicious when a company like MS take interest in our Os. What's their angle ? What's their true motives ?

Using Gamer's nexus numbers and comparing 2080 FE vs 3080 FE, we have under Furmark 235 W vs 324 W raw consumption that gives us a 89 w increase ( +38 % increase ), and according to LTT we have a average 30 % increase in fps (in 1440p).
I'm really not impressed, they only cranked up the power to eleven and I don't get the hype...Yeah for 4k players and Vr maybe (respectively 2.24% and 1.7% on steam hardware survey).
What I'm really hoping for is that AMD delivers on their promises on the power efficiency and give us 50% increase (I sincerely doubt it) for the same power consumption as the 5700xt. For me that where they can differentiate themselves with RDNA2 not participating in this stupid race and keeping it reasonable price wise and consumption wise.
Nvidia, a machine for pigs ?
