I've finished A plague tale, technically & artistically it's astonishing.Loved it from start to finish.

Tried Wonder Boy, the controls killed my fun and patience, one hour and it was uninstalled. Too bad, art is nice.

Finally, I've settled with Katamari Damacy rerolled, it's weird but it's fun and the soundtrack is unique.

Next, Dishonored 2 since I loved the first one.

@Furaxhornyx Yeah, I think it's as simple as opening the project and starting working on something easy to start the machine. And you're right, I should write steps and milestones to have a real general view.

My gamepad of choice is the Xbox360 usb since the release of the console of the same name. I fell in love with the ergonomy, the weight and the build quality, plus it's Plug & play. It's my second one and before I was using a PS2 controller with an usb adapter so Dualshock 4 would be my second choice. If I had to buy a new controller today, I'll go with an Xbox One Elite, the triggers behind the controller are great. I still have to try the steam controller but as said before the lack of directional stick is troubling me.

Otherwise, I've tried Succubus: Prologue a FPS so violent, so grotesque, so perverse. Definitively not for everybody and once the shock value is passed the game is meh, great art but meh.

Next, I've finished The suicide of Rachel Foster a walking sim with light adventure elements and a good story. It plays like Gone Home mixed with Firewatch. Everything is great about this game, I liked it.

I'm in the middle of A plague tale : Innocence and I love it. Runs great on Proton 5.0-9 (60 FPS, 1080p full options ). The art and level design combined with the mastery with the engine gives a wonderful result so much that it could be the most beautiful game I've played so far. The story is gripping, characters are great and you get attached to them, gameplay is well made and responsive, level design is linear and I like it since I'm fed up with open world that prey on my play time that gets reduced more and more. Overall, I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Finally, a small question : How do you motivate yourself to work on your personal project ? I'm currently in a high procrastination period, so much It's been a month or more since I've touched my two Godot project I've got on the burner. Same with my music, I pick my guitar for 5 minutes, scratch it a little and put it back. What's your trick ?
Maybe it's just a period... Really busy at work.

Dark Souls 3, mostly... I really love the Souls series and, hopefully, Sony will finally decide to port Bloodborne on PC. Works great with Proton.

I've just bought Project Highrise a sim tower clone, so far I like it and it works great with Proton.

I've played Gear City an automobile manufacturer simulator. It's hard, it's deep and tough to learn. For the older ones, it's a clone of Detroit. Native on Linux.

I've made a nostalgia trip and fired up Gran turismo 4 with PCSX2 and it's still a blast.

Still on my Borderlands 2 playthrough but is it me or this game is boring with dull questing and a story that takes hours to really take off. I'm 10 hours into it and nothing really happened, I just know that this Handsome Jack guy is a total wacko and that he wants my head.

Finishing Blood episode 3, so far so good.

Finally, a little bit of Bridge constructor, a small time waster, perfect for a quick gaming session. Native on Linux but with some glitches.

I've finished Carrion and it's awesome. This short Metroidvania, 5h and taking my time, have the best mechanics / gameplay I've played so far in 2020.

I've started playing Blood : Fresh supply on Proton, a game from my childhood I've played on shareware that I've never owned so never finished. It's fast, it's fun, I like it.

And Still on my Borderlands 2 run.

Finally, I'm trying to finish the games that I've started :

Tried Doom Eternal again, I do not like it and uninstalled it.

I've watched the ending of Batman : The enemy within, and it's a pretty darn good tv Show / Game if you like Batman with really easy QTE you can't miss (What's the point ?), a classic Telltale.

I've finished Hitman, great game, I love it, great port with good performances. The second installment is in my playlist.

I've played Beneath a steel sky & Beyond a steel sky, and it's still a blast, the sequel is really faithful with great writing and a nice 3d art. Happy to meet Foster again, I hope next time won't be in 26 years.

I've tried Beautiful Desolation and it suffer from graphical corruption, there's a workaround and will try again later.

Some quick play of Kingdom.

I've started a new playthrough of Borderlands 2 and this time I will see the end.

Quoting: Thrash_Metal_ComputersDoom Eternal from what I have seen seems to carry on the same systems from Doom 2016, albeit with more movement options, use of the flamethrower for collecting armour etc.
That's right, It's Doom 2016 with Flame Thrower, Ice Cannon, Chainsaw mechanics, Dash and double jump movement with platform level chunks, climbing and pole swinging, a Hub and worst of all... A full fledged story with cutscenes including talking NPC. I know there always was a story in Doom but in 1 & 2 it was a text screen at the end of an episode, never played the third, and 2016, when you wake up, as soon as someone tries to explain the story to you through a screen, the doom guy rips the screen from the wall and the lore is distilled through pickables and text.

To summarize, what I like in Ion Fury, former Doom episode (including 2016) and other old school shooters, heck even Call of Duty, is that it's easy to pickup, in Eternal there's too much mechanics, in my taste, making it far less accessible.

In my opinion, we lost Doom since Eternal.

Yesterday, I've finished Ion Fury and my opinion is that it's awesome.
Another FPS but with one of the best level design I ever saw, the music is so great and fits the fast paced action you're put through, graphics are finely crafted pixel arts with lots of variety.
About the gameplay, I've had more fun with this one than Doom eternal, to hell with flame thrower this and glory kill that, me see me shoot and that's what I want. Doom is still very good don't get me wrong...

And I also finished Shadowrun Returns, a fallout-ish squad based T-RPG. It's good fun, not transcendent, writing is good, found it a tad boring in the end.

Finally, I've started a memory refresher of Beneath a Steel Sky, works great with ScummVm.
