Perhaps the hangs on nvidia can be fixed by disabling the Steam overlay. Checking.

Quoting: LeopardBecauseYes, it hangs. We are waiting for the driver from nvidia.VK_VALVE_mutable_descriptor_type
extension is needed to avoid hangs. Without it ( which currently on RADV has ) game will hang regularly.
So it is not really playable on Nvidia.

Quoting: LeopardBecauseI'll check. So far there are no hangs for an hour in the character editor and on the tower.VK_VALVE_mutable_descriptor_type
extension is needed to avoid hangs. Without it ( which currently on RADV has ) game will hang regularly.

Quoting: SpirimintSuch good news. But why Valve said then its only working on AMD??I don't know. Minor performance issues like looking in the mirror, but still playable. I have not reached the city yet, I am busy with another.

Quoting: GuestSure, galaxy not working on Linux is frustrating. But the store offers DRM free downloads with downloadable native binaries. Acknowledging the existence of Linux is still a huge step over stores like Epic that pretend it doesnt exist.Try GameHub.

Quoting: dpanterWant to get rid of the launcher? (Steam version)Thank you. Without this hack, both games would not start, although the day before yesterday SUPERHOT was launched.
Replace the launcher binary superhotmcd with a shell script that launches the game binary SUPERHOTMCD.x86_64
The replay feature is broken on Linux, but this is a Unity engine game and if you force Vulkan, replays work for some bizarre reason. Use as you see fit.
#!/bin/bash
./SUPERHOTMCD.x86_64 -force-vulkan
Save this 2-line script as superhotmcd and don't forget to make the script executable!

note:
Same trick works with SUPERHOT, just use the correct game binary name SUPERHOT.x86_64 :)
