@Kimyrielle: same here.
I enjoy the bundles mostly because of the games I would otherwise not buy/notice. I've played a few extremely memorable ones just because of Humble Choice. I believe Police Stories was one such recently and The Pillars of Earth I think a while back ... to name just two.

I have to agree. In the past Ubuntu started giving me quite a headache with Steam et al. that is why I ended up using Manjaro for the last couple of years (tried just about all the major distros out there). Just a few weeks ago I ran into some problems (Uplay) and tested if they are present in Ubuntu as well. Yes, the they were there but I enjoyed setting Ubuntu 22.10 up so much I stayed with it. I love it. It is Ubuntu I loved so much years ago. It is the distro that brought me to linux. Still remember that nice movie included with Nelson Mandela explaining what Ubuntu means.
I love Gnome so this is also a big factor.
Anyway, Manjaro is wonderful too but I do prefer the aesthetics of Ubuntu.
Otherwise, I have to say this, just about any distro is good to use these days so I really don't see a lot of differences between them in a sense that one plays nicer with games than another.
Also started to love snaps and flatpaks in the meantime. Linux is just..well, the best desktop OS there is.

GOG has quite a few problems. First of all, the prices of old games went up quite considerably. Recently they added some Star Trek games for 10€ each ... no thanks. It is also simply more convenient to buy on Steam (wonderful Linux support), quite a few games I would be interested in are also not available on GOG. And there seem to be issues with developers as well. One time I contacted one about supporting Linux on GOG (there was a Linux version of his game on Steam) and he did not sound happy about GOG at all. Don't know why and did not ask.

Quoting: scaineI've a Gnome guy since I started on Linux, albeit dabbling with various other DEs over the years. Nothing outside of Gnome felt like home, however. Until about 3 months ago when I gave KDE another shot and discovered that I could get the exact same experience/workflow, but without the various dumbed-down apps. Gnome will always have a special place in my heart, but I'm a KDE convert now.Tried it but am used to activities overview so much I moved back to gnome. i wonder how did you overcome this.

For me, KFC is more of a, well, fast food chain so I just had to read the article only to find out it has nothing to do with chickens.

My experience with Ubuntu 20.04 was not great. Steam was not working out of the box and such. I wanted to love it (Ubuntu is the distro that helped me get into Linux so many years ago) but gave up. Did not try Pop though.
I had less problems with Manjaro - the ease of adding stuff is unmatched as AUR has all you want. Latest Lutris, gamemode settings, small tweaks here and there ... I really enjoy it.
Have been using Manjaro for three, four years now for work and entertainment and had only one problem recently on one of the computers using Nvidia as the drivers v440 did not play well with the latest kernel.
On the other hand sometimes it's incredibly easy to setup some unconventional combination: like making Dolphin Emulator to use Switch's joycons - it took me 5 minutes. I don't know how long it would take on Ubuntu or Pop but I doubt it would be this fast.
So, if somebody would ask for my advice I would recommend Manjaro.
Just an opinion.

My experience is rather different. I like the bundles as they introduce games I would probably not even notice. I have had a a great time playing some of them especially from Daedalic. I won't play all of them I added to my library until now but for 10e+ I don't see it as a big expense.

Anyway, in my experience good for tinkering around, wonderful for writing as it's totally quiet but had to switch back to my main computer for work as it was too slow in some tasks (mostly due to read/write to SD card).
Still enjoyable little device with a lot of potential.

Quoting: SolarwingYES!!!Yesterday I bought Raspberry 4 with 8 Gt ram ...:Just don't expect miracles. Tried some of the available versions (Mate, Manjaro ...) but always came back to the official Raspberry OS as it was the most optimized even if only 32 bit.
