Quoting: ExpandingManand I had *just* enough fond memories of the early game that I felt compelled to finish it
That's the problem. Some games are too long for their own good. You have to learn to let go in order not to taint your experience/fun with the beginning of the game.

Quoting: Vasya Sovarireal usable and stable
That varies. Being one of the lucky KDE SC 4 version 4.0 users I have to say that stable is a relative term.

And usability is a very objective term. I've never been happy when I had to use Unity for example.

Oh. The thread on doomworld has gotten rather big. There is a wad upload feature and there are reports that people already have uploaded stuff made by others without asking.

Quoting: Liam DaweShould be, they did announce it.
That does not matter on GOG, they announce many things that really are there a few days later, but it is there now. 2 hours between announcement and it actually being there is good.

Quoting: soulsourceMy conclusion from this is that AppImage does not make the dependency situation better. If at all, it makes it more annoying.
Yes! And adding an addition layer of obfuscation adds an additional step when fixing things.

Yes. Probably confident. I agree that Manjaro has done unfortunate things.

Vibrant Sokoban-style game Puzzledorf now available for Linux, works great on Steam Deck

Quoting: PenglingOddly, it's also used as a suffix on the names of a couple of Nintendo villains!
I know and I can't explain that, but there might be someone else who can explain Ganon/Ganondorf…

But the game names are straightforward:

Puzzle is puzzle in German, so Puzzledorf is puzzle village.
Dorfromantik is village romance.

What's the third Dorf?

Edit: Found some speculation related to Ganon/Ganondorf: The added village suffix might be used to differentiate between the wild and the village dwelling version.
