Prison Architect is great, although it still has some annoying bugs that force you to completely remove a room and recreate it because it gets stuck during construction.

In general they don't. But if the sale has a separate page and the game you are looking for happens to be on it, then you have a countdown. But that isn't reliable in general, most of the time they manage to gog it up somehow and end the sale earlier or later.

For those that don't remember, I use SteamCMD to download my games to run them on my laptop. Deep Sky Derelicts won't start without Steam. It displays the logos and then shows a modal dialogue on top of the main menu. I usually manage to steer around games that require it.
I've noticed that two people on the game's forum claim that it doesn't work regardless.

Quoting: GuestAre you stating their code is not " a clean room implementation of Microsoft technology " ?What? I'm stating that the “No exposure to Microsoft code or reverse-engineering of Microsoft software” clause is there so they are able to call it a clean room implementation.

Codeweavers needs to be able to show that they have a clean room implementation of Microsoft technology if they want to be on the safe side. They are only able to do that if they don't employ someone that has looked at the original code or tried to de-assemble original code.

Quoting: eridanired123Because that would make it easier for Microsoft to sue them into oblivion. No exposure to Microsoft code or reverse-engineering of Microsoft softwareWhy is that? I'm curious I would have thought that the other way was preferable. (•ิ_•ิ)?

New combat areas sounds very good. I've been wondering if they were still working on the game – it has been awfully quiet after the reskill function with exponential costs announcement.

I still haven't gotten into the game. I'm not sure why not, but I really prefer Dicey Dungeons, although it seems like I should like both.
