Quoting: eridanired123Because that would make it easier for Microsoft to sue them into oblivion. No exposure to Microsoft code or reverse-engineering of Microsoft softwareWhy is that? I'm curious I would have thought that the other way was preferable. (•ิ_•ิ)?

New combat areas sounds very good. I've been wondering if they were still working on the game – it has been awfully quiet after the reskill function with exponential costs announcement.

I still haven't gotten into the game. I'm not sure why not, but I really prefer Dicey Dungeons, although it seems like I should like both.

I'm going to moan as well (sorry):
At the moment I'm really annoyed about the missing Linux versions on GOG, especially Overcooked 2, Megaquarium, Turok 2 and Dead in Vinland. The thing that bothering me the most is the complete radio silence on that subject. I think that I would have an easier time accepting the unfortunate situation if I knew the reason(s). It's so frustrating.
And on a different front: The long delay of the “Into the Breach” Linux version is getting to me as well. Every time I see the game on sale it's getting worse.

And the GOG version has already been updated. I spent a lot time deciding if I wanted a native Linux version (which Liam called slower than the Windows version in Wine several times) or a DRM-free version. I finally settled on DRM-free. I sometimes wonder if the native version is that bad, but I'm not going to buy the game a second time.
Anyhow – I'm not sure that the new zombie type is enough to entice me to reinstall the game, but I'm happy that it's still updated. I liked the gameplay and general atmosphere, but hated the shallow and incredibly overdrawn characters.
