Half-Life remake Black Mesa has a big upgrade with DXVK 2.3.1, optimizations and bug fixes

Yeah, I played it a few months ago and I got crashes in the xen world on both the native Linux version and the windows version with proton. I switched back and forth a couple of times to figure out which worked better. I'd much rather have just one that actually works.
I think the windows version worked better for me, but I might misremember.

The biggest issue for me is finding stuff in the rearranged system settings 😄

Which is nice, but I refuse to buy a Denuvo infested game. Heck, even the previous one still has Denuvo today.

Eh, whatever. I only use their website to get free games. I have not bought a game on Epic and I never will. I can be VERY patient.

Overwatch 2 out on Steam - works fine on Steam Deck and desktop Linux

Now I wish they would put League of Legends on steam. I am curious about what the reviews would look like.

I don't really care about Overwatch tbh. Played it a bit a few months ago, but I just can't get into shooters anymore.

Linux Mint planning new 'EDGE' ISO, plus Linux Mint 21.3 due in December

I am really curious if they will finally move to a Debian base for Mint 22. Seems like just a matter of time at this point. If not Mint 22, then Mint 23 I'd wager. That is if they keep their version numbering. It would probably make more sense to just end it with Mint 21.3, support that for as long as possible and just divert all other attention to LMDE 6.

The 8BitDo Retro Mechanical Keyboard looks awesome

I do love the looks of that grey one, I'd need a german keyboard layout though. I don't really care all that much about their software, I currently have no need for keyboard macros. And I just checked their site, I particularly like that volume knob. That might be a step up from my current logitech volume wheel thingy

Baldur's Gate 3 on Steam Deck is 'absolutely wild' and aims for 30FPS on Medium

Quoting: Liam DaweNo SD card?
Got a cheap 128 GB one a the time. To be fair, I use my deck mostly as a streaming device connected to my TV to watch Netflix and YouTube from my bed. Much better than having to use some proprietary smart TV software or Amazon TV stick trash.
Even just being able to use an adblocker for YouTube is worth it and I can use mouse and keyboard with it.

For this game I'd prefer Mouse and Keyboard anyways. Yes, I know there will be controller support, I played their last two Divinity games and while usable, it is simply inferior to a regular mouse and keyboard.

It would not even fit on my Deck. I still have not upgraded my SSD. I'm looking forward to playing it on Thursday on my regular PC though. Been waiting for it for 4 years now. June 6th 2019 is when they first announced it.
