The Game Awards 2022 is over and there was a surprising amount of big new announcements, so here's a little run over some of what's coming.

When the EA App replaced Origin on Steam, it came with a whole bunch of problems for gamers on Steam Deck and Linux desktop. Now, it should hopefully be sorted in Proton Experimental.

Not only has Team Fortress 2 been updated but it seems like quite a huge one thanks to the addition of VScript, and you can now run Linux inside it. That's right, TF2 came to Linux back in 2013 and now TF2 itself can run Linux. What a time to be alive.

Proton Experimental has a now update available as of December 1st, so here's a run over what's new in the latest build for Linux desktop and Steam Deck.

Valve released a Steam Deck Client Update with a bunch of nice fixes, and they also revealed the top 20 most played games on Steam Deck for November 2022.

Lightspeed Studios and NVIDIA have announced that the Portal with RTX free DLC will be release on December 8th.

Another update is now available for the Steam Deck with a Client Beta, fixing up some annoying issues people keep finding and reporting to Valve.

While Valve continues working towards replacing the old Big Picture Mode with the UI from the Steam Deck, a few more fixes are in the new Steam Client Beta.
