I am excited to play more of it, as it really is a great game and I hope it has a long life with plenty of new content and decent mods.

I will look to highlight some fun mods for you sometime soon.

If you don’t already own the Reinforcement Pack, which includes Anarchy’s Children and two future pieces of DLC, you can purchase Anarchy’s Children individually on Steam when it releases next week. If you have already purchased the Reinforcement Pack, do not also purchase Anarchy’s Children on its own, as you will be charged for it. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I'm sure those are coming. It's just easier to release this sort of thing first, since the art team would otherwise have had little to do during the last phase of development and after launch.

This. Artists tend to be one of the first developers to have their work finished on a project, so they tend to have time on their hands while the game is being balanced, tested, and kinks are being worked out, that's why cosmetic DLCs tend to be the first DLCs released.

Anyway, I'll get this plus whatever other DLCs come along when I buy the complete edition of XCOM 2 in 9 or 10 months time.

Purely cosmetic DLC like this ranks up there with horse armor as far as I'm concerned. Its value becomes even more questionable when hundreds of cosmetic mods are available for free in the Workshop. Hopefully future DLC that adds new classes and story missions will actually be worth the money. Better yet, just give us a proper expansion pack like Enemy Within. This, on the other hand, is a "Wait for a 90% off sale" sort of thing.

There's nothing wrong with the RNG.
