Indie developer Hempuli Oy has released a follow-up to their incredible puzzle game Baba Is You, this time taking the idea of Into the Breach from Subset Games and putting a new spin on it with Baba Is You word rules. The developer doesn't shy away from the inspiration and clearly states it too.

Here you get the small tiled arenas where you have to complete objectives, but you also have the various word blocks like "Hill Is Stop" that you can push around to change the rules of the level to complete the objectives. A fun idea and it does work quite well!

More: "A mysterious force is out to steal all the Fruit! Help Baba & friends foil their plans by maneuvering gigantic mech suits around. Features tactical puzzling action, heart-wrenching storytelling and extra challenges over a total of 43 missions."

If you love a blending of puzzles with turn-based strategy, this is one you'll probably enjoy. This isn't the only spin-off from Baba Is You as there's also Baba Is You XTREME and Baba Files Taxes but this is so far the best of the bunch.

Available for $4 on itch.io. There's no Linux version like with Baba Is You but my testing showed it working great with the latest Wine 9.0 RC 3.
