Dice rolling dungeon crawler Dice & Fold is out now

By - | Views: 20,842

Released today with Native Linux support, Dice & Fold from Tinymice Entertainment is a turn-based dungeon crawler where your only way of attacking the enemy is by rolling dice.

More about it: "Dice & Fold is a game that combines the strategic depth of turn-based dungeon crawlers with the thrill of chance inherent in dice games. Players unfold cards to face the creature cards and try to beat the card and fold it. Reminiscent of classic table-top RPGs and Solitaire, the game adds a simple layer of strategy."

The developer mentioned they have a full roadmap ahead of content to add to it. Although it's not an Early Access title, they will keep expanding it. Currently they plan 5 free post-release updates filled with new companions, new items, new bosses to beat, new difficulty modes and so on.

Available now on Steam.

My subjective and superficial judgement is that the art style makes me feel as if this will be boring despite having no evidence of this being the case.
"...the thrill of chance..."

Anybody who has played XCOM is breaking out in a cold sweat right now.
