Quite a surprise this one. Palworld and Terraria are getting a crossover, but we don't really know what just yet.

When Terraria did this with previous games, both games were updated with some content inspired by the other game. So it's likely each game will add something from the other, which could be quite interesting. Imagine the Eye of Cthulhu from Terraria flying at you in Palworld — and you try to catch it.

Spotted on Bluesky that was posted by their community manager Bucky:

2024 isn't finished yet for Palworld and we have some exciting news about the next update coming VERY SOON...

But first, we want to tell you about something happening in 2025!

! ! ! Palworld x Terraria ! ! !

More info coming soon!

For Palworld, we're also getting the next major update in December as also posted on Bluesky noting it comes with the new island that's "SIX TIMES BIGGER than Sakurajima will be your greatest challenge yet".

All of this while Palworld developer Pocketpair are still fighting off Nintendo.

Nintendo lawsuit against Terraria in 3...2...1...

Quite curious about the crossover, I love when different devs collaborate and grow together.

I really hope Palworld can defeat the bully that is Nintendo.

I was unpartial on this, until I learned how Nintendo crafted their case. Since that moment I am fully rooting for Pocketpair.
The only one of these games that I've played is Terraria and I'm not really interested in Palworld, but Terraria's crossovers usually entail something interesting. Speaking of crossovers with games that I haven't played, the next update's supposed to have Dead Cells stuff. Did that come out while I wasn't looking?

Not sure what this'll do to the Switch version of Terraria, although it's a game that's ideally played in PC anyway. To be completely honest the Switch was always by least favourite Nintendo console.

One last update to Terraria, and then we'll be good, promise.
Wow I am super excited at the prospect of Terraria & Palworld collaboration. The steam rating is extremely impressive too @ 94% and 98% approval ratings.

I think Terraria 4-pack key back in 2011-2012 was the money most well spend on Steam. We had a lot of fun and I eventually go back to Terraria from time to time. It's funny to remember that some of my friends thought that "Terraria was just a crappy 2D copy of Minecraft", while me and my wife had fun with both.

Damn, Re-Logic still delivers quality content through fixes and collabs without asking for additional money(and that I would gladly pay).

In 2011 Terraria was such an escape room save for me at the time. If memory serves right that 4-pack and even the 1-pack sales were like $2.49 or 4.99 -- I gifted at least 10 copies to friends to play, best money I ever spent.

Re-Logic got a lot of flack "It's just a 2D minecraft", and then there was the whole agro-narc-spriter who split off to make Starbound -- which the funny thing about them parting ways was the Re-Logic's sprite and art improved tremendously after that too.

Re-Logic, ConcernedApe, Legends. And something developers just can't understand is that middle school age kids have potatoe computers, so of course Terraria, MineCraft, StardewValley, AmongUs, and other optimized games will become massively popular with that group of people and payoff big.

The Legend's deserve the fame they have earned.
